   The food was excellent! The ambiance is great. The service was off a little from their usual standard. Most likely because it was Christmas and the place was packed to standing room only and the staff was slammed.

   We went to celebrate my girlfriends birthday on Christmas Day. I had made reservations in advance and asked for a romantic table for two seated next to each other. It was quite busy and we were twenty minutes early. The host told us that our table would be ready at our reservation time so we went to wait at the bar. The staff was extremely helpful and kind even though it was very busy. The host came and took us to our table right on time. I couldn’t have been happier a private table that sat four so we were able to sit next to each other. Our server Tyler was exceptional!!! He knew the menu well and answered all of our questions. We started off with the Kumiai oysters, delicious. We enjoyed our wine and warm bread and butter. For our entrees we each had the 8oz. Filet Mignon and added the Australian Lobster tail. Everything was cooked to perfection. Then Tyler brought my girlfriend a delicious dessert on the house for her birthday. We enjoyed our celebration and couldn’t have been happier.

   I received 2 text stating they would have $50.00 salad , dinner and dessert. We do not honor the Christmas Day specials at this address. Never told us about the prime rib or any other specials Server never got us our wine with dinner . We had to hunt the server down for more water I know it Christmas . I did not say a word it was Christmas but very disappointed!

   Not very happy on this visit. We had reservations for 4:30 arrived at 4:20 were not seated until 4:55. After being seated no one greeted us for 20 minutes until i flagged down one of the hostesses going by. She came back with a waiter that had just clocked in. The waiter was apologetic and gave us good service. The food was excellent. We will think twice about booking on a holiday.

   Don't get a booth; a very upright seat back and short seats make these pretty uncomfortable. I booked a table for 3.45pmm yet didn't get seated until 4.15pm. I get it; these things happen, yet it was just a sign of how the whole service would go. Front of house host, was dismissive. The best way to describe our waiter was confused. It took 20 minutes to get a wine menu to us after he informed us that the wine we ordered was out (he didn't bring the list with him when he told us that...) I asked for a bearnaise sauce and after multiple attempts and having actually finished my steak, a sauce tuned up, I have no idea what it was, but it certainly wasn't bearnaise haha My steak was cold, and the second wine we were eventually able to order tuned up after we had finished our meals... There are so many other great steak restaurants in this area that there really is no reason to go here for crappy service and mediocre (and cold!) steaks...

   We had a reservation for 3pm and were not seated until 3:40pm and then told that the special that they were advertising for the holidays ( still listed on the menu in front of the restaurant) was discontinued by the chef. The person that checked us in was very rude and the manager finally offered us the special because we asked to speak with him only to find out the reason for the cancellation was because they ran out of one of the 6 special item choices( that we were not interested in ordering anyway). We felt like it was bait and switch situation to drive an hour away and try a new upscale place that if the price wasn’t honored because of speaking to the manager our dinner price would have almost tripled? From 50$ for a 3 course meal to 46$ for just the entree with no starter or dessert? This would have been fine if we knew this ahead of time but the whole situation left a bad taste and we felt like we were purposely mislead.

   Richard the manager does a fantastic job taking care of the customers and staff. The food is excellent with a very comfortable atmosphere.

   Christmas Day dinner. Greeted and seated immediately. Varied menu with holiday specials. Filet mignon done perfectly. Swordfish delicious. Very busy wait staff but very cordial and friendly. Won’t hesitate to return.

   The crab and shrimp cakes were such a disappointment. Not only were they overcooked, the flavor profile was terrible. $48 for two and I would not recommend them to anyone.
