Meat On Ocean is a meat-centric, modern steakhouse in Santa Monica that offers both a sense of adventure and breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Beyond the offerings of a world-class steakhouse, Meat On Ocean features an artisanal charcuterie bar, an exhibition dry-aging room and a variety of prime beef – from dry-aged domestic cuts to Japanese A-5. Integral to the operation is a highly trained crew of servers and butchers, who communicate directly with Guests about the beef, organically farmed chickens, house made sausages, choice seafood and more.

Located on the corner of Ocean and Broadway, Meat On Ocean is steps from the action - including the Santa Monica Pier, shopping and hotels.

So my previous dinner was very good, this lunch wasn’t. A handful of people in the restaurant so not quite sure why our order took so long. Then my chicken that was added to my salad was very dry and unseasoned. It was just ok. I may try again in the future but so many other options to choose from so we’ll see.

As always the food is the star here. From amazing charcuterie meats and cheeses to the best steaks you can find in the Los Angeles area. We had the pleasure of having an amazing waitress this time around for dinner, Kristen did a great job at being knowledgeable about the menu and always making sure we had what we needed. Also being very friendly and made the meal that much more enjoyable. Your food can be great but your staff and service will keep people coming in the doors! Thanks for another great dinning experience

Being a foodie from New Orleans I have experienced many amazing places in my dining endeavors, when in Santa Monica Meat is my geaux to for dinner. Our service was provided by Max who was a a true professional his approach, experience and recommendations we spot on! The chef and his staff knocked it out of the park in terms of the quality and timing of their preparation and presentation! I have been to this restaurant many times and each visit seems better than the last! If you’re looking for an elevated evening to entertain and impress this is the place. While expensive, you certainly get what you pay for treating yourself, family and friends is what it’s all about particularly during the holidays!

First time at MOO and it won't be the last. 45 day dry aged Ribeye was very tasty without being funky. Good sides and desserts too. Wait staff could push cocktails more than they did.

45-days aged Riibeye steaks were awesome,. So was the sea bass. The services were wonderful and staff were very friendly. Definitely will go back.
