   While the food, service, and ambiance were generally good, the restaurant had inexpmicably instituted a very limited menu on the evening of our visit. When researching a restaurant local to the NJPAC, this place drew our attention specifically for its offerings. Our party of five had all reviewed the menu before agreeing on this restaurant, so it was unfortunate that not one of us was able to order our previously selected dinners. Additionally, the at table prices on the menus were significantly higher than those on their downloadable menu, and while having a "prices subject to change without notice" disclaimer, it seems silly to me in this day and age that you wouldn't update your online menu when you make price changes. With a final cost of nearly $400 with a generous tip, it was a little underwhemling. I would call ahead to make sure they are offering their full menu. Otherwise your choices are significantly curtailed and you may not be able to order what you were wanting.

   We were there early so noise wasn’t a problem the restaurant was very nice looking …..but the type of clientele it attracts because it’s in Newark is unfortunate we almost got into a fight with another couple at the bar because they thought it was OK to be playing their cell phone music while they ate ….which was disturbing to everyone around them….. the staff got involved at my request but she caused a scene and was screaming and yelling…… it was very unfortunate in addition to this sadly the food was really really bad all four things we had were awful The staff apologized…. but there were no credits offered or given on our check and the food was quite pricey

   We arrived for our reservation and there was no host to acknowledge our reservation. We waited 10 minutes and finally flagged down a waiter, who had us sit in another area. We waited another 10 minutes before flagging him down again and he obviously had forgotten us and then sat us immediately. Because we were going to a concert, we ordered everything including drinks and food at the same time. We told our waiter that we were going to a concert and he did his best to bring our food and drinks quickly. Surprisingly, the food was excellent. My wife had the grilled salmon, it was firm cooked perfectly, I had the chicken marsala which was a very large breast, cooked well and flavorful. The servers were trying their best but they obviously needed more help...and the restaurant wasn't even near capacity. Decor is several decades outdated. If the initial experience had been any better, my rating would have been higher, but for the price we should receive service better than an IHOP.

   The food was delicious. Everything was seasoned to perfection. My steak was cooked to the perfect temperature. My only pet peeve: I would have preferred that the steak wasn’t on top of the potatoes. Our waiter, Fabiano, was delightful, attentive and professional. Highly recommended.

   Reservation for 5:30pm for one person on a Wednesday with a show going on at NJPAC across the street at 8pm. The restaurant was empty until 6;15pm. I ordered at 5:30, received my steak at 6pm, but I asked for a side salad and that came with the entree. I finished eating at 6:30pm. No refill on water. No visit from any waiter during my meal. I finally got someone to notice that I was finished and was offered dessert, which I said no to. I then waited, and waited, and waited for the check. At 7:10pm, I got up, put my coat and hat on and went to the bar and asked for the check for my table, which they produced right away. I paid and was out of there by 7:15pm. Did I mention, it was only me eating. I would recommend this restaurant for its food but not for its service or swiftness.

   We arrived at 2 pm and no one else arrived until 4pm. Food quality was very average. Chilean sea bass taste more like a bland tilapia. Our server left without telling us so we have to wave down another. Very nice atmosphere but average food with poor service. In addition they automatically added the gratuity to our bill and we only had 3 people which actually caused them to get less than my usually 25-25%

   Exactly what you would expect from a chain hotel restaurant - food was good, but calling this a steak and seafood house is a stretch. Must say the staff were very courteous and helpful (unlike what other reviewers experienced). Stick with the pastas dishes, and skip the appetizers.

    Had to repeat every item of our order several times so the waitress can get it. Calamari was very thin not like typical thicker calamari. Steak was overly salty. The pasta and drinks were great! Service was fast.
