We really enjoyed the Melville Tavern. Pleasant surroundings for outside dining, good beer and excellent service. We will be going back.

Food was mediocre. Service was okay but could have been better. We were seated right away since we had a reservation for four people. . The table had only three chairs and I had to tell the host that we needed one more. Our appetizer came out last after all the other entrees were served. The waitress took so long to get our check. Overall experience was not at all impressive.

Best food we’ve had in a while! We ordered the blackened shrimp salad, the meatloaf and the pepperoni pizza for my kid. They were all outstanding.

We came here for brunch on Mother's Day and truly enjoyed ourselves. Although our wait was rather long to get our food, we understood it was a holiday, and the bottomless mimosas were perfection!

My wife and I go there at least once a month. Last night the place was hopping, busier than usual, Big Sur marathon weekend I guess. We were seated quickly and the server promptly took our order. Drinks and food came out quickly and were fabulous. We will definitely return soon. Only down side is it’s quite loud( being a sports bar I guess) but not unbearable

The whole family enjoyed their meals of shrimp scampi, mahi mahi sandwich, chicken Parmesan, and kids meals. The server was great

The food was good. We had a couple of beers, blackened chicken sandwich, and cheeseburger. If you are looking for a bar type restaurant with good food, this is a great option in Monterey.

Kitchen flooded, could only order drinks. Found this out after we ordered two drinks. Ended up leaving and would have thought they would at least offer a discount on drinks (10%) or at least something.
