   My husband and I chose the Mercantile to celebrate my husband's birthday. It was also our first time to eat there. Such a wonderful way to celebrate! The staff was more than friendly, our service was fantastic, and the food was absolutely delicious! Thank you, Merc Staff, for making a memorable evening for both my husband and myself!

   Our third dining experience at the Merchantile. As always from the moment you walk in until paying the check service was exceptional. Food was excellent and well prepared. Will return again , always a great experience.

   Always Excellent!! We try to get a reservation every time we visit Kalispell. We tried a new side tonight- green beans- a new favorite.

   Our server was absolutely amazing, the food was terrific but the price was extremely high, the ambiance was more of a cheaper feel to this space. The chairs very uncomfortable tables your basic restaurant. For the price you would expect 5star all the way around. Service 5 stars Food 5 stars Ambiance 3 Comfortable seating 1 star. Almost 200.00$ for dinner for two people.

   Our family of four ate at The Mercantile tonight for the first time. We are new to the area and received a gift card. We had the bison ribeye, NY strip, coulotte steak and prime rib. Also shared sides of mac and cheese and truffle fries. The mac and cheese was delicious, the truffle fries were just ok. They seemed over fried/too crispy and we didn’t quite care for that. The popovers were delicious. Overall the food was good and we would eat there again.

   Our server was awesome! She did an amazing job taking are of us. Drinks/cocktails were very good! Food was average tasting compared to other places we go but way more expensive for smaller portions. The Elk bolgenase was super small portion and taste wasn't that great, stew was horrible with only 2 pieces of meat and no flavor. 2 different steaks were good but not $20 more then some other places for just as good a quality. We, unfortunately, won't be going back.

   We had a good experience and our server was so nice and checked on us often. The Prime Rib was very tasty- just a smaller slice than the the oz. size on the menu. The New York Strip was also very tasty- medium rare was perfect just a bit too charred on the outside. Desert was delicious and the mousse and the new York cheese cake are thumbs up. We will be back and try out the seafood & fish. Heard great reviews about the Specials.

    Service was excellent , meals were expensive but tasty. My wife would have preferred the scallops with no sauce but i enjoyed the sauce. It was tasty but not overpowering. Mine was very good. Wedge salad was very good with blue cheese dressing. Overall our experience was that the meal was over priced and quantity was a little Less then i would have liked.
