   The staff was friendly and prompt on our table. The ambiance was nice. The food was good for being luke warm. I was disappointed on a cost basis. I am sure others enjoyed it but food should be served hot.

   The ambiance is terrific, the service was outstanding, the wine selection amazing, and the food delicious although very expensive. It is among our top four favorites in Flathead Valley.

   This was likely the best steak over ever had (the filet) cooked to perfection. The service was impeccable, the sides were excellent as were the drinks and dessert. We will be back!

   I love this restaurant but I was a little disappointed in my meal. The vegetables were practically raw and cold. It was so loud we couldn’t visit very well with our dinner companions. If I had dined there on this visit for the first time I might not go back.

   Excellent meal. Three of us ordered the prime rib, but there were only 2 cuts left. The short straw ordered buffalo, which was the best he'd ever had. We realize we got the last two cuts of PR so I shouldn't complain they weren't the correct temperature, even though I asked the server it they would come MR and R. Nevertheless, the smoke flavor was incredible. The biggest negative was the ambient noise level, which made it hard to enjoy our conversations.

    My husband and I chose the Mercantile to celebrate my husband's birthday. It was also our first time to eat there. Such a wonderful way to celebrate!
