   We took our out of town guests to Mercato della Pescheria. This was our first visit for all of us, though we had walked past this restaurant several times. Our server, Hyder, made our visit very enjoyable. He was pleasant, attentive, and professional. A very nice wine by the glass selection added to our evening. The ambiance of the restaurant is also a key feature - making one feel that they are enjoying an outdoor restaurant in Italy. We all loved it.

   The food was outstanding but the personal service from our waiter Shawn was out of this world: professional, friendly and super attentive…all with a welcoming demeanor And big smile! He loves his job and it comes through in his outstanding service!

   Had the whole sea-bass and a side of fettuccine, tiramisu for dessert- all excellent.

   Unfortunately Mercato Della Pescheria was not a good experience for my party of six. The service for lunch was slow with water and bread. The variety of meals involving seafood was not prepared correct. My order of linguine and clams was very poor with the clams not cooked properly or seasoned correctly. My clients meal of mixed seafood was not a quality meal. My other clients meal of pizza was not served with the group which resulted in our food getting cold. Her meal was burnt and had to be redone. So unfortunately I cannot recommend this location.

   We make a point to come to Mercato every time we are at the Venetian/Palazzo. Food is outstanding!
