   Thought this restaurant was just okay. We had the sweetest server who tried to make the best of it, but the food took quite a long time to come out, especially the apps. The ribs, cornbread, and Mexican corn were yummy, and the crispy chicken salad was amazing. But the paccheri, broccoli app, and crab curry noodles were just okay. I was especially disappointed with the crab noodles. The portion sizes on the pasta dishes were alarmingly small. Overall it's a nice place with lots of space and a fun crowd, but not sure I'd return.

   Meril is always amazing. I would not recommend the Caesar salad. Hunks of anchovies that overpowered the salad. Did not taste like a Caesar salad at all. Everyone who ordered one did not eat it. The rest of our food was great, but the salad was awful.

   Every dish we had was delicious. The chicken and biscuit knocked it out of the park! And the banana cream pie was a mile high and incredible. We definitely will be back.

   We had a reservation and stopped in for a few drinks and appetizers and they forgot about us multiple times, thought we put our order in and they had yet to take it, finally put our second appetizer in and then it took 45 min. They did end up removing that item from the bill. Was really looking forward to this restaurant but was disappointed.

   Loved the vibe and service was excellent. Great dinner with four teenagers. Food was delicious, I just wish our food was served hotter. I’ve noticed this at another restaurant that we loved so maybe it’s a NOLa thing.

    This was our first spot for food during our trip to Nola. They were flexible when we showed up an hour early for our reservation and we were sat quickly. We ordered the meatballs, the pineapple upside down cornbread, the turkey necks and the 100 layer potatoes to share between the two of us since they were small plates. We got swindled into ordering the pocket bread but it ended up being really good so no complaints. The meatballs were 10/10 I could’ve eaten way more of them. The pineapple upside down cornbread was really good and unique but the bacon overpowered any pineapple. The 100 layer potatoes were fantastic probably my favorite along with the meatballs. My husband enjoyed the flavor of the turkey necks but complained that they had very little meat on them. This is a nice spot for some tasty, unique shareables over good conversation.
