   This was our second visit to the merimbula RSL club in the last two weeks. On both occasions the venue, service and meal was exceptional. The chef and his team have excelled, The restaurant staff were superb. Great night out.

   For some reasons the food today was appalling to say the least in contrast to our last visit. The serving size to price ratio was abysmal. Furthermore, the meat was not even properly cooked as evidenced by the blood still oozing out of the veal. It’s maybe the last visit to Merimbula RSL!

   As always, the meals were promptly brought to the table by very nice wait staff. The value for money can be seen in every meal. Great food, huge choice for everyone at the table.

   We had a fantastic experience The most disappointing experience we had was the greeting we received at the front desk the gentleman couldn’t of been any more disinterested in making us welcome Thanks

   I understand that it’s the busiest time of the year but if a restaurant can’t provide fairly decent food for the people they welcome in, then perhaps they should close the extra room and not try to seat hundreds of people. Amongst average food, We paid $45 for a main salmon that was precooked and luke warm - it literally came out in 4 mins from being ordered. It was terrible, at $45 for that will not go back.

    The service was average. The food was great though. The staff are not that inviting. I was really impressed with the food servings especially with the kids. If I were to go there, it would be only for the food and not the service
