Dine at the most breathtaking oceanfront setting in Kapalua Resort. Peter Merriman Chef/Restauranteur has brought his unique style of Hawaii Regional Cuisine to Maui. A pioneer in the “Farm to Table” concept, Peter serves only the freshest products, at least 90% of which are locally grown or caught, using only sustainable methods.

Reservations are released 60 days prior at 6am HST. This includes all holidays. Although we cannot accommodate parties larger than 8 people or split reservations in our main dining room, we do have other options available. Please email reservations@merrimanshawaii.com for groups larger than 8 people.

For a more casual dining experience, join us at The Point, our oceanside dining location offering a casual menu. The Point opens daily at 4pm, weather depending. Reservations are not needed or accepted for The Point. Happy Hour is from 4pm to 530pm at the Point and Bar.

    Really outstanding food and service. We sat outside on “the wedge”, which has a simpler menu but is much quieter and maybe more casual. I’ll come back next time I’m in western Maui.

    Everything was great except for the desert of the day that we took to go (flan). They fixed it and took it off our check but we had already passed d with cash do never got the refund

    Food was maybe marginally above average for the "higher end" cost compared to other locally similar fine-dining restaurants i. e. Mama's Fish House, Kula Lodge, and Gannon's. My lobster dish was a bit of a disappointment, but I'm used to New England cold water lobster. In addition, food portions were decidedly smaller by comparison, as were cocktails. Table service was absolutely outstanding and water glasses were kept full at all time, and bus service was polite and prompt. Our server, too, was prompt, polite, courteous, knowledgeable, smiled, and was attractively and professionally presentable. The recorded background music was a bit too subtile (loud), but that is all relative because I can't hear worth a damn anyway. The live music which came out later was definitely a plus-up! The indoors was stunning with seating overlooking the ocean in addition to patio veranda seating as well. Overall, I would give Merriman's a B- as compared to similar others that I have dined at on the island.

    Enjoyed the beautiful view and great bar. Had a reservation and had a 30 minute wait but was not a problem. Good service and food.
