    No trip to the Big Island is complete without dinner at Merriman’s. We’ve dined at all their locations, and this one is our favorite. The Caesar salad is crisp and perfectly dressed, and the chateaubriand is outstanding—tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Everything is fresh, local, and delicious. A must-visit every time we’re on the island.

    What a fantastic evening. If you get James as your server, you’ll be in excellent hands! The Mai Tais, the Manhattan, and the lamb are standouts. Thanks so much for a wonderful meal.

    We made reservation for lunch in Lew of Mothers Day. We. actually wanted to avoid the crowds on the actual holiday, which our afternoon lunch/ dinner provided. The restaurant was not crowded as it usually is at noon time. Our food was delichsou and I must recommend the homemade ginger ale. It's super delicious and enjoyable. Thanks to Perter Merriman for a delicious belated Mothers Day and Superb meal. We totally recommend this restaurant to all who visit the Big Island!!

    Returned after a 20 year gap, this time with my adult son, now 28. This is still one of my favorite spots in the world. The food is insanely fresh, creative, and thought fully crafted. Our meal left us completely satiated but decided me must have the Mac nut-pineapple bread pudding. OH MY! We left in a blissful food coma and plan to return soon!

    Kirk was amazing and made the experience that much more memorable! The food was delicious, they give you only the freshest local farm ingredients. The beet salad is a must and enjoyed the macadamia fish and their corn bread skillet.
