This is where it all started – on the banks of the Rappahannock River overlooking where we grow our oysters. We like to call Merroir a “tasting room,” just so people know to expect something different. Everything is either served raw or cooked on an outdoor grill, small-plate-style, and beautifully paired with craft brews and world-famous wines. Each menu item is singularly-focused, seasonal, and ever-changing, so there’s always a surprise in store.
At present, we do not have menu information for this restaurant. Please see their website or wait to visit the restaurant to learn more.

Ate on the heated porch, cozy ambiance. Food is pricey but worth it as a treat.

Foul odor in the dining room, like a backed up toilet. Yes, like sewage.
Ordered a French white Bordeaux and was brought a French white blend that was 50% Chardonnay. Should have refused it but I had guests and didn’t want to make a scene. Server was very nice.

This is normally one of our favorite restaurants and we normally love everything on the menu. Unfortunately, today both of our meals were extremely salty. We both weren’t able to finish our meals.
The oysters and stuffin Muffin were delicious as usual.
