Message in a Bottle and the restaurants at The Village Dunwoody are the vision of hospitality veteran and owner of Dash Hospitality Group, David Abes. Chef Camron Woods, Culinary Director for The Village, and along with Phil Handley, have created a thoughtful approach to the food & beverage selections. The bar menu features a mix of vibrant cocktails, beach beers, and complimentary wines. Start your dining experience with a Seafood Tower, Oysters Rockefeller or the Ceviche de la Día. The menu features a selection of the daily Fresh Catch, Crispy Seafood Platter, and Chef's famous Maine Lobster Pot Pie. The dining room has a fun beach vibe with nautical decor and other seating options include the Raw Bar, Screened Porch, or Private Dining Room.

    Fantastic restaurant, amazing food, and an excellent ambiance. I absolutely love their crab cake dish, the grouper ceviche and save room for the best key lime pie you've ever had in your life.

    Our server Tina made our birthday celebration dinner a fabulous evening. Tina was accommodating , loving and just made sure we were taken care of.... she's the GOAT!

    First time here, but the Bartender, Tommy was amazing. Great recommendations and service! The atmosphere was great. We went on a slow night, but could tell even on a busy night, it’s still a great spot to visit! Will definitely be back!!!!

    Our server Tina was very engaging, helpful, professional and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered hush puppies that didn’t taste like hush puppies but rather burned dough. They were way overcooked. They need to change this prep so you can taste the corn versus the burned breading. The ceviche was excellent as well as the seafood salad.

    Message In a Bottle is great. Enjoy a casual meal with great food ( the mussels are amazing) , very friendly atmosphere ( Sarah is the best waitress) and reasonable prices. On comfortable nights, the outdoor atmosphere is wonderful… big screen TV in the middle of a courtyard, filled with happy people . Enjoy!

    Great date night dinner with my wife. Our server Catherine was on the ball and took good care of us. The grouper ceviche and jumbo schrimp cocktail was delish to start. Our entrees Schrimp scampi and Ciopinni pasta was very very good. Imperial beer from Costa Rica is worth a try. Really good beer. All in all a wonderful dining experience. Thank you. Jose & Paula

    Service and food were amazing! Oysters, crab cakes, Caesar salad, and the best - Fried Chicken sandwich (no I am not joking. Best you will have. Go ahead and try it).

    Go and enjoy! Overall, we had a very good experience. The food was all good to excellent. Notable excellent for us were the raw oysters, beet salad and crab cakes. The fried fish basket was good. Fish was fried to perfection and the sauces were good as well. The French fries were just okay, not very flavorful. Our bar service was okay. We ordered craft cocktails. Like many other bars offering craft cocktails, they take a bit to make, and on busy nights, you wait. Two things that made this experience a little less than excellent. One, it’s hard to find, and the signage for the restaurant is terrible. There’s a tiny sign at the very bottom of the placard in front of a courtyard. And, the restaurant is located in the courtyard past another outdoor bar. Second, the noise level is very, very loud once the restaurant fills up. I wouldn’t recommend for a first date, intimate dinner or business dinners. Conversation becomes difficult. Now, if you have boisterous conversationalists in your family like we do, it’s a great place. We plan on going back with our family members.
