   I remember when they opened years back- oh boy Another Mexican food place..not so! Authentic foods- daily fresh veggie changes. Have you had those cubed sweet potatoes?!? The ceviche had oversized seafood pieces- really could be a side with soup for healthy meal. But don’t miss on the margs-Margaritas are Excellent! We were seated in the enclosed patio like room to the far right. Excellent for we aging folks! Hubby could hear so he was blessed to talk to me hahaha!!

   We love Mexican Sugar, but our server didn’t get our drinks correct, service was slow, and happy hour pricing wasn’t honored initially.

   Our family enjoyed Mexican Sugar! It is different than our usual "go to", and that was part of the charm! The selection of drinks is very nice, the food well presented, and everything was yummy. The only complaints were the noise level and the (apparently) cilantro rice wasn't a big hit. We will be back for another occasion!

   I can't say how much we enjoyed our experience last night. We had friends flying in, and made reservations at 630pm. Due to many flight complications, I had to keep changing our reservation many times. The last modified reservation was at 9:30p.m. Because it was christmas eve, the restaurant was closing at 10pm. We arrived at 9:28pm and we were fully ready for them to say it was too late and couldn't seat us, which was completely understandable. However, the host greeted us with a smile, seated us kindly, our server, Ruben, was outstanding with us, he was warm, gracious and gave us so many helpful suggestions. Food was excellent, our drinks were amazing--needlessly to say, we will definitely be back! Mexican Sugar made an awesome first impression to our out of town friends, and they want to come back and try there breakfast selections. Thank you so much for an amazing experience.♡

    we love this place, it is upscale but reasonably priced, the atmosphere is always great, the food excellent, the waiter was very nice and responsive to our requests.
