London's plant-based pioneers, the first Mildreds opened in Greek Street, Soho, in 1988, and has since moved over to Lexington Street.

Mildreds is all about fresh, colourful vegan food that’s vibrant and full of flavours. It's six London restaurants, each with their own unique style and personality, offer laid-back and friendly service in a lively atmosphere.

Often surprising and seducing hardened carnivores and with all of their dishes vegan and many gluten free, Mildreds offers a warm welcome to all. Signature dishes include kimchi bokkeumbap, Mushroom ale pot pie, kiri hodi and korean fried chick+n burger.

Located in a townhouse in the heart of Soho, the recently refurbished Mildreds is spread over 3 floors and offers a stylish private dining space for 10 - 26 people

You’ll find our cosy, intimate private dining room on the second floor. The dark panels, artwork and quirky character provide a space which feels like you’re in the heart of Soho. The room transitions from a modern dining space during the day to an intimate candlelit hideaway away in the evening, where you can enjoy our classic cocktails accompanied by our seasonal, 100% plant-based menu. Minimum spend: £600 for lunch. Please note that we require a deposit to secure the booking, fully refundable if cancelled 48+ hours in advance. Any decorations brought to Mildreds will need to be removed and disposed of appropriately by the organiser after the event.

Disappointingly bland ‘taste of Mildred’s’ tasting menu. Food is usually flavoursome but this was sadly a bit of a let down. Very loud and dark on the ground floor so not hugely enjoyable. Can’t fault the staff or service though!

Really amazing flavours, super tasty and beautifully presented in a charming small restaurant in Lexington Street in Soho. It was very busy at lunchtime, though not noisy, and it took a while to get a drinks order in but then the drinks arrived quickly followed by food and it was then pretty faultless. Lovely, friendly staff, too.

The whole experience from start to finish was perfect. Each staff member we interacted with was polite and friendly, the waiting staff who looked after us were attentive and always made sure they regular checked how we were and if we needed anything. The timing between each course was timed very well and the food was absolutely amazing. We cannot wait to come back as it was the best meal and experience we have had in a very very long time!

Undoubtedly the best vegan restaurant we have been to. The food and service were exceptional, all staff members were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Food came out quickly, plates cleared in a timely manner. We were pleasantly surprised by the bill too, really reasonable. We will definitely be back. Our only complaint is there isn't one closer to home in Brighton!!

Good selection of shared starters, gyoza, arancini and houmous, large main dishes (could have shared a kimchi rice). Service was friendly and attentive.

We had the tasting menu - all the food was great. Service was okay - waited quite a while for our drinks and they brought our mains before they cleared the table from our starters. Also we were sat next to a cold draughty fireplace at first. We asked to be moved, but heard others complain about the same thing. Otherwise atmosphere was great and food was great.
