   Enjoyable dinner in the Tavern (basement bar area) of Millwright, my favorite section- quiet, more intimate, fireplace. Delicious food, and first-rate service. We even got a free app due to our dinners (delicious Shepard's Pie) being delayed (not that we needed it....). Great overall as usual.

   We were so excited to go to Millwrights for the first time and had only heard good things. We sat at a high top in the tavern and the atmosphere was very nice. It’s a beautiful restaurant. Our waitress was nice but our food took 45 minutes to get to us - and that was just bread and oysters (PS bread isn’t even included). The waitress RAVED about the Johnny cakes and they were so dry pillsbury would have been better. The oysters were very good. We then got the ravioli and chicken wings (off the app menu), the ravioli were under seasoned and the flavors were just off, the chicken wings were also good but nothing to write home about. Overall at the prices you pay to go here the service and the food is just NOT worth it. We literally went to a pub after those courses because my husband was still hungry and we refused to pay more for an overpriced course.

   Outstanding as usual. Saw Chef Anderson outside, always a pleasure, staff were great, attentive, just wonderful, and the swordfish schnitzel....OMG to die for, absolutely amazing!

   Highly recommend for romantic dinners or small friend groups. Great rustic ambiance. Knowledgeable servers, with great advice for food selection.

   I was at Millwrights for dinner about 8 years ago and loved it. Came back tonight with a friend and had dinner in the Tavern. The atmosphere was very nice, but we found the service to be, well, Meh: the waiter didn't really seem to have definitive answers to the queries we had about the oysters or the wine. We also felt often interrupted by him when in deep conversation, and rushed in general. We then moved to the bar for a nightcap and the barkeep was sullen, seemed annoyed, and didn't smile once. Overall the food and drinks are ridiculously overpriced. Don't think I'll be back- mostly due to the service.

   We had a lovely, quiet, delicious dinner tonight. The Tavern is just beautiful. This whole place is gorgeous. Pricey…but worth it.

   Absolutely mind blowing cuisine! This chef is phenomenal. Every course on the tasting menu was unbelievably delicious. My favorite restaurant!

    There were many unique entrees to choose from on the menu. The Sea Bass was delicious. Our service was excellent.
