Our food has been awarded the best Asian and sushi in Connecticut with accolades from world-renown chefs, magazines, and within culinary circles. We specialize in truly traditional Japanese food preparation and sensibilities, with Japanese menu items including sushi, sashimi, nigiri, and other fine dishes including noodles, katsu, and teriyaki-based plates. Our menu includes a selection of traditional rolls and house-originals from our chef who has over 20 years of experience in culinary arts. We use the freshest ingredients with daily fish deliveries to ensure fantastic taste and value for every meal.

    Very good food and friendly service. I found this place somewhat randomly and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Having lived in NYC for many years, I am usually disappointed by sushi restaurants in CT, which are either lame suburban versions or way too pricey, but this place makes the cut. We will definitely go back.

    One of our favorite sushi restaurants in the Northeast, we've been coming here since 2004. If you order enough sushi they will serve it on a big boat (especially fun with kids). Order the Sex on the Beach roll as it is fantastic!

    It’s time at this location - parking was easy and food was delicious. Try the handroll and the crispy rice app. We will be back.

    Went with another couple and sat at table in front window, where it was quiet and provided a view of the entire restaurant. Appetizers and sushi were outstanding. The lava cake was amazing. Service was superb. We used to regulars but hadn’t been since the pandemic. One of the finest dining experiences in New Haven!
