   We had an amazing experience at mission bistro. Our server was very attentive, friendly and professional and was so kind and helpful with our 1 year old baby (thank you! Sorry we forgot her name but she used to work as a home nurse for some time!) She gave great recommendations for food and also helped us talk to the chef to make something healthy under the kids menu for our baby. We ordered 2 seafood courses and both were very fresh and tasted really good. We would love to come back to visit again

   Enjoyed our dinner, great service. Be sure to enjoy the bread service, crab cakes, beet salad and black cod were delicious!

   The swordfish was a bit dry. Black cod and the noodles were out of the world. Service was excellent. The specials for dogs is a very nice touch.

   Our visit last year to Mission Bistro was outstanding. We arrived VERY late on Christmas night, having left a disasterous experience elsewhere (waited 1/12 hours for a 2nd appetizer to come, during which our server left and never returned. The manager offered to comp the first appetizer, but we declined and fled to the streets). We were resigned to not be eating dinner that night, it was so late. We passed Mission Bistro, looked in, and before we knew it, the owners greeted us with a warm welcome and, undaunted by the very late hour, said "if you are hungry, we have food!". Everything was perfection. The service, the food, the warm hospitality. Mission Bistro saved Christmas night that year...we've recommended and talked about them all year. Mission Bistro charmed us, prompting our return this year. We went again this year on Christmas, anticipating an outstanding experience again. Upon arrival, we tried to share this store with the owner, but he seemed confused and rushed. Our server couldn't tell us anything about the wine selections--anything. Not even what grape varietal each selection was on the "special" wine-by-the-glass menu. A second server was brought in to assist, and all they could offer was that some of them were "fruity and jammy". The fish dish arrived and was so dry that it felt like bark chips. Flavorless... dry as a bone. The quail was prepared well, but underneath was supposed to be a stuffing of sorts...it was pulverized and had the texture of baby food. It was sprinkled with pomegranate seeds. The chocolate mousse/brownie desert amounted to about (2) tablespoons...one for the mousse speared on the plate, the other for the "brownie". Tasted as expected. The ginger cake was equally microsized...both had a teaspoon of ice cream. Inexplicably, there were pomegranate seeds sprinkled on top. The couple next to us complained that their food was late, and cold. What a difference. What happened to our dear Mission Bistro???

   We really loved the dishes - we had the Christmas Day set menu. The highlight was the scallop main dish, lots of flavour coming through the scallop and the chanterelles. Only issue we had was that there was a mix up where our seat was mistakenly assigned to another group, causing us to wait a while despite having a reservation. But mistakes can happen!

   Excellent Christmas dinner with friends. Great food, loved every course. Prime rib was awesome!! Great service, romantic cozy ambience. Thanks for the perfect dinner!!

   We were a party of 6 plus a dog, service is always friendly and prompt! The food was extra fantastic and so well played for Xmas eve. Our favorite new place🎄

   We eat here all the time with stellar results. This time they were slammed and service was non existent. They tried but were just too busy. But everyone agreed the food was good!
