Price: $150 /person Our best expression of Latin American culture and flavors through Vegetables with our 14 Course tasting menu. Note: We are able to adjust for various allergies, preferences, and dietary restrictions. Nevertheless, it's essential that all dietary restrictions are communicated at least 48 hours prior to your reservation. We ask that any cancellation to your reservation be made no less than 48 hours prior. For no shows or late cancellations, you will be subject to $50 fee per person. This is a three hour dining experience. We kindly request that you and your guests arrive on time to fully enjoy the entire two hours and to respect the reservations of other patrons. Menus are subject to change.
6 Course Prix Fixe

Price: $95 /person Experience Latin American culture and flavors through Vegetables with our 6 Course tasting menu. Note: We are able to adjust for various allergies, preferences, and dietary restrictions. We ask that any cancellation to your reservation be made no less than 48 hours prior. For no shows or late cancellations, you will be subject to a $40 Fee per person. This is a two-hour dining experience. We kindly request that you and your guests arrive on time to fully enjoy the entire two hours and to respect the reservations of other patrons.

We loved our experience! We went for a birthday and they brought this adorable music box that played happy birthday and raspberry sorbet. It made us feel very special, such a thoughtful touch. The food was spectacular; we loved the soup course, but all of them were incredibly delicious. Each bite was an experience. We would recommend MITA to anyone looking to do something special and unique in DC

A wonderful gourmet vegan restaurant. We notified the restaurant we were celebrating a family member's birthday. They created a birthday card and included a birthday dessert at the end of our six course meal. An artistic feast. We each had the six course pre-fix dinner. Two family members included the wine pairing as well. The spread sampler was absolutely delightful. Each course built upon the first. The fava bean soup with dashi and plantains was one of my favorite courses. The artistry and presentation of each dish was a show in itself. Watermelon balls in cilantro, and pearled barley with mitake and peas were also notable. It was pricey but the experience was amazing.

Very attentive and welcoming. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. They went above and beyond to make sure our night was special. The food was wonderful, so moreish. It went very well with the pairings. Kudos to the team, can't wait to be back!

My best friend and I were looking forward to visiting this restaurant due to the menu. We arrived late due to traffic and the host on the phone and in person was very kind and understanding. We arrived at our table and immediately greeted with a kind server to give us a run down of our dining experience. I started off with a martini that I had to make according to my preference of olive brine. It was very tasty with a great selection of garnishes but I feel like I paid $35 to make my own cocktail, nothing special. I had the wine pairing but I was not aware that I was skipping the bubbles selection if I ordered a cocktail and automatically opted for the dessert wine, I would have preferred the bubbles. The first bite of mango-tamarind was incredible! The other bites were good and all of our food was warm at best. The server assistant Isabella was very knowledgeable and eager to please but passed our table about 6 times in 2 minutes waiting for me to finish my courses. Every bottle of wine that was poured for me was the last if not next to last pour from each of my pairings. I understand that these bottles were being poured all night but it was a little touch that made me feel like the butt end of dinner service. The Txakolina rose had no effervescent and was not very chilled unfortunately. The plating was absolutely beautiful and definitely our favorite aspect. We were the second to last table in the back dining room and we felt rushed to leave. Overall, a good but not great experience.
