Beautiful restaurant with great food and drinks, quick and responsive service. Would definitely return. I was in a party of three people. For our start we got a margarita and two Luchador house cocktails. The margarita was underwhelming (more like a citrusy soft drink) but the Luchador cocktail was wonderful. We got the aceitunas and jícama salad for tapas— everyone loved the aceitunas, and I really liked the jícama salad, but the others at the table thought it lacked salt. For our meat, I ordered the memalada de cabra, and my companions got the pulpo and ceviche del día. The meat in my dish was lovely and the flavors went together well, though I thought the masa cake was a bit tough. The pulpo was great and the ceviche was some of the best we've ever had as Salvadorans— definitely NOT Central American style, but fresh and very flavorful. The platano chips were a very nice accompaniment. We got wine (granacha and tempranillo) upon recommendation from the waiter and were all very happy with the result. Glasses of wine were very reasonably priced. For desert we split the torta de almendras and all enjoyed it thoroughly— warm and very flavorful without being overwhelming or heavy. The service was quick and proactive. The waiter gave good recommendations and made sure to ask about time constraints, allergies, etc. Very friendly. We sat outside since the weather was nice and the inside was a bit loud. That being said, the interior layout was beautiful and very spacious. The outside seating is right next to a downtown street and we were having a late dinner on Saturday, so some noise from traffic was inevitable. That being said, we were all comfortable for the ~2 hours that we were there. Overall excellent.

Everything was delicious! Had some family in from out of town and wanted to try this place and it surely did not disappoint. We tried so many things and it was all top notch. I can’t single any one thing out, but the tapas style was unique and not something I had tried before. Will definitely be back. Thanks for a wonderful evening.

Each dish was better than the next - and we are all food snobs from Chicago and NYC. Our waiter Grace C anticipated our needs at every step, preemptively let our person with dietary restrictions know what the could eat safely and how dishes could be adapted, offered expert wine recommendation, and even offered to take a group pick for the graduation celebration.

We would give the food 5 stars, except for all the SALT! It was beautiful and flavorful, but nearly everything was so salty we wanted to dip it in our water glasses. Fast, friendly and attentive service. Wonderful menu. Great location. They just need to go way easier on the sodium.

I have coming to Mita’s for some time now when in Cincinnati. I was excited to share with my colleagues. We had a large group (18) and Juan and the wait staff were very attentive and professional. Making the reservation was easy and Caroline was very responsive and accommodating. The food (all courses) were consistently delicious. Highly recommend.
