About this restaurant

Four key pieces separate us from a traditional steakhouse.

1) We only serve ranch specific Alberta Beef. That means we don’t serve beef from anywhere else on the planet. We know our farmers and ranchers personally and respect the hard work they put into produce our beef. We like our beef to be, hormone & antibiotic free and pasture raised. Happy cattle make for better steaks.

2) We are one of just a handful of steakhouses in Canada that serves, Grass-fed, Grain-fed, Wet-aged, Dry-aged and Wagyu beef 365 days a year. Our beef is always fresh never frozen.

3) We use an 1800o Infrared Grill to cook your steaks. Our grill stays at very consistent high heat versus a traditional open flame grill. The high heat creates a flavourful crust on outside of the steak and leaves a juicy centre.

4) Our décor is warm and modern. The tradition has always been dark wood, leathers and a muted palate for a steakhouse. We broke the mold and decided to add hand selected music that reflects us!

    A great meal hosted by Chris and our server Peter. Delicious Tomahawk steak washed down with a fine Okanagan Falls red wine. Lovely ambience and not too noisy even though the restaurant was pretty busy.

    Best steak I've ever had in my life, and our server, Andre (I'm pretty sure that was his name!) was extremely professional and answered all the questions I had, and he made myself and my date feel more valued and welcome in the establishment than anywhere else in Calgary. Would highly reccomend.

    I booked this restaurant for VIPs and always request feedback to determine if it’s worth rebooking. Since I didn’t attend the dinner, I rely on others' experiences. The food was good, and the atmosphere was okay too. However, the customer service experience left a lot to be desired. When we sat down, we were told that we couldn't order our appetizers and main dish at the same time. We didn’t really understand why and asked for clarification, only to be told, basically that’s how the kitchen operates. When our appetizers arrived, we were left holding onto our menus the entire time, waiting for the opportunity to order our main dishes. When we asked again if we could place our order, we were told we had to finish our appetizers first. This was a business dinner, and we weren’t looking to spend three to four hours at the restaurant. When our main dishes finally arrived, they did not come out all at once—there was a frustrating 10-minute delay between the first plate and the last, making the dining experience even more disjointed. The service was also incredibly slow, and our waiter barely checked in on us. We were not asked if we wanted more drinks or anything else throughout the meal. Overall, the service needs serious improvement. A more attentive and flexible approach would have made the experience much better. The manager called me to apologize, assuring me that he was taking notes and that my feedback was not going unnoticed—I appreciate the effort to address the concerns.

    Had a triple date here and can’t say anything bad. Service was attentive, the appetizers were fantastic. Mains, sides, dessert, and drinks were perfect. Highly recommend!

    It was "good" or "very good" For the price and hype, I wanted "wow, that was one of the best meals I've ever had". Had the 3 sample "Ribeye Tasting"... I enjoyed the Ben's Meats piece the most, wifey like the House brand. The Austrailian Wagu was ok, needed spice/flavour. All in all... it was OK, but definately not "wow"

    Everything was AMAZING Our server ( i forgot his name, but he had gorgeous long hair) did amazing and suggested wicked sides for our meals! He really knew his stuff I had the sangria which was great Appy’s Wagyu dumplings 1000/10 Fried Cheese 10/10 Mains Filet with blue cheese crust side of Risotto 1000/10 Hubby had some steak with these deviled potatoes ( small potatoes in a spicyish tomato sauce) 1000/10 No room for desserts but they look amazing as well In between the appy’s and main they served us some truffle butter poocorn which was even better than the usual bread and butter! All in All we will be back!
