Very unusual, interesting and tasty food. Our waiter gave us great recommendations. Oysters with raspberry granita, monkfish, cavatelli and carrot sorbet were excellent but so were all the other dishes.

One of my absolute favorites! Hiramasa in the raw section of the menu was amazing. Tuna n duja, smoked trout and the asparagus were also favorites. We had a pasta also (gnocchi) which was equally delicious, but come here for the seafood. All was perfectly cooked (or uncooked) with amazing flavors you wouldn’t expect. For dessert get the lemon almond cake!

Quite personalized and interesting turn taken on classics and beyond. Recipes and ingredients are full, rich and compact in taste. Balancing choices when placing order is key to a good experience. Too much of the same dish category is not recommended. Desserts are exquisite while also rich in taste and proteins. Room left for these are recommended as well. Not sure a several course menu can be found-more of a pick and choose one to two to share dishes + dessert option could be best. Wine list is too small when it comes to by the glass, also overpriced. Accent put on cocktails, but why cocktail with diner? Overall, a good and refine experience. Just a little too complicated. Cheers!

The food was amazing, especially the hiramasa crudo and the casarecce pasta with morels and wild ramps.

The food is amazing! Absolutely delicious. The menu is a little confusing as to portion sizes for each category. The two of us ordered one “pasta” and two “shares.” The server thought it was light but It actually was the perfect amount. It feels a little pricey overall… especially the wine. But the wine list is extensive and well curated.

You have to have a lobster roll and fried clam strips while visiting Boston — but you won’t find them here. Instead you will find fascinatingly prepared seafood with exquisite attention to detail and attentive service. (Very thorough descriptions of food and drink items and which could be adjusted for dietary needs.) Reservations pretty much required

Overall the food was very good. Moeca leans towards a heavy handed version of sea-food dishes inspired by Spanish and Italian cuisines. Some appetizers had very unpleasant flavors (the mussels) and some more intricate (the amazing charred beet dish). The pastas are complex, dense with flavor and not light. The ravioli was a thick ragu disappointment. Cocktails are creative but I wish they had less choices and more wines by the glass options (the limited wine by the glass list was very compelling and creative). We had 6-7 dishes for the two of us, expecting that they would be on the lighter end but we could have had 5 and been fine. The savory tart was huge! (but very fall like in its richness) Dessert was a nice chocolate gelato with passion-fruit. Again, it was heavy on the tartness and needed more rich chocolate intensity. The stand-out dish for us was the tuna with the rustic bread. A perfect blend of seafood flavor, buttery tuna and a dark rustic roll. Service was wonderful and the noice level was great for conversation.
