Mojave does a great Cuban sandwich with maduros and the sauce they serve it with is 👌. Their cocktails are also solid for the pisco sour and suavamente. Service is always good and it’s a convenient middle ground location between Marietta and Atlanta. We’ve been back several times. The tacos are also great, but I would not recommend the cheese dip or guacamole. They’re not bad but I wouldn’t order them again after trying them for the first time on our last visit.

I really miss the old food and cocktail menu. My favorite tacos are no longer on there. Same for the margarita that I always ordered. Still good but definitely miss my go to things!

It was a really nice restaurant with good food but thought it was large party friendly - not really. my party got split into two separate tables (we were not asked or notified beforehand). We also sat down around 7ish and the waitress didn’t come take our order till after 9. Service was not great and really dampened the experience.

I had a reservation for 10 but only had 9 show. The food took over an hour to come out, but, the restaurant itself was not very busy.

Went for New Year’s Day Brunch advertised as having breakfast foods, plus New Year’s staples of roast pork, collards, black-eyed peas, and bite sized desserts. We had reservations at 12:30 and arrived with 2 servers present and nothing on the buffet. It took 10 minutes to be seated and after another 20 minutes we had not been greeted by our server or offered anything to drink. Finally flagged someone down to take drink orders. Some breakfast food was on the buffet, but only lukewarm and not particularly tasty. Asked about non- breakfast food, we were told it would be an hour. Finally had meat, black-eyed peas and collards set out around 2 PM, which we stayed for. No desserts were out until we were leaving at 2:30. Very disappointing experience.

For the past four years, my partner and I have celebrated New Year’s Eve with dinner at this restaurant. While the location is convenient, the atmosphere pleasant, and the staff always kind and welcoming, the quality of the food has steadily declined year after year, leaving us disappointed this time. We started with the Cornbread Churros (4/5), which were enjoyable, but it was the highlight of an otherwise underwhelming meal. The Ceviche Lima (1/5) was the worst dish of the night—excessively fishy, which means the fish wasn’t fresh, and poorly chopped ingredients made for an unappealing texture. The Paella (2/5) didn’t fare much better; it was overloaded with bland rice, lacked seasoning, and featured pale, flavorless shrimp. The Churrasco Steak Fries (2/5) were also disappointing—the fries were decent, but the steak was tough, chewy, and unappetizing. Our drink, the Refresco de Sandía (3/5), had potential but was overpowered by an unnecessary rosemary addition, which masked the watermelon’s natural sweetness. It’s sad to say goodbye to a tradition, but after this year’s experience, we’ve decided it’s time to find a new place to welcome the New Year.
