    We were there on a very busy night and I think they hindered the services a bit but, boy, the food was excellent! We will be back!!!

    This my second visit to Monterey and it did not disappoint. Wonderful service, wonderful wine list, and the Prime Rib special was perfect.

    Food was not good, service was slow and very overpriced. It took an hour and 15 minutes for our main meal to come out and we had to get to a Broadway show.

    Monterey is a no frills modern take on steakhouse + American fine dining. It was a nice to experience their prime rib (cut in front of you) and whiskey (bar men bring drinks with options). Our service had a bit of snafu on orders (wrong desert and a side option) but the friendly waitressing service more than made up for it. It’s a low key good option for both people visiting NYC for the first time and residents alike. Will definitely revisit.

    The meal was fantastic! We arrived a little early and our table was ready. We were seated right away and everything continued to go smoothly after that. Almost everyone had something different to eat and everyone really enjoyed their meal. The Cosmos are great too!

    Our first experience at this restaurant was top notch. Service was excellent, prime rib special was amazing and plentiful! Drinks especially spicy pear margarita was delicious. Overall experience was over and beyond. My family will be coming back!
