   We dined at Morton's for my husband's birthday. Here are the positives: food was very good, service was very good, and we could hear ourselves talk! And the Old Fashioned was the best one I have ever had. Whoever the bartender was last night was terrific! The negatives: The decor and atmosphere remind me of restaurants my family ate at as a child in the 1970s. And let's face it: the prices are pretty astronomical. That being said, we had a lovely time!

   The food was exceptional. The waitstaff left much to be desire. One women stood in front of us at a distant table endlessly wiping glassware excessively. Very annoying. Other members used loud voices to talk off to the side. The waiter just seemed like someone drop by ask if you need anything and bop out the picture. The menu could definitely be enhanced. The Wagyu meatballs were good!

   Our server was training a new server but forgot about our table numerous times and we had to ask an adjacent server for help a couple times.

   I booked an evening at Morton's to celebrate my Father In Law's birthday. The staff went out of their way to make him feel special, including a photo and dessert on the house. Thank you so much for making him feel like a celebrity.

   Had amazing service! But seemed pretty stuffy for a group of 7 celebrating a 33rd birthday. We ordered lots of plates for the table. Cocktails are very expensive, $35 for a top shelf Margarita. Lobster Mac and Cheese was fantastic. Along with the lobster and crab salad. Seared Tuna appetizer was over cooked. Tomahawk for the table was delicious and could be shared by 5.

   Usually a 5 Star Experience. More servers than diners, service totally lacking. Fortunately, the manager who makes rounds picked up the ball. They were kind enough to comp some of the checked, but like most people, not interested in being comped for bad service. Happy to pay handsomely for good service. Very, very uncharacteristic.

   I can’t lie the food was definitely disappointing. Came for a birthday dinner. My steak wasn’t overcooked yet it tasted like it was charred and burnt (I can only assume from an uncleaned grill since I ordered it medium and it was medium in the middle). Dessert was a joke (do not recommend) and options for sides and appetizers non dairy were all but non-existent. Clearly “covered in cheese” which we all know is code for not fresh is a thing here. Won’t be coming back

   We took my wife to Morton’s on Mother’s Day and the entire staff was extremely pleasant and engaging. My wife’s prime rib was cooked exactly to her specifications. I completely enjoyed the sea bass. We would definitely recommend Morton’s to others!
