   My wife and I had another wonderful experience at Morton's--it was her birthday. It was Tuesday early evening and it wasn't very busy so we had plenty of time to get to know our server, Mark, who was excellent and Andrew, the wonderful manger. We the filet mignon and shared a lobster tail and dessert. We asked for horseradish in the mashed potatoes, which added a perfect kick. The filet mignon was done a perfect medium rare. The sautéed mushrooms and spinach really complemented the other food. For dessert we had the molten chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream--so good. They also have a very reasonable price for the Austin Hope cabernet, which is my favorite and you can even get it by the glass.

   Overall, a great place for steak. Relatively minor reasons for less than perfect rating, but if you want perfect can't fall short of something. In this case, it was one, the bread took a while to come out. My wife had to ask about it. Two, did not ask if I wanted another beer, even though the glass was almost empty, and it was only my first beer.

   Impeccable service. Food was delicious. Wagyu and aged steak was rich in flavor and tender. Overall, a superior dining experience.

   It's been 3 years since we last visited Morton's. The setting has a classy feel with its dark wood. For me, the dimness of the place is a little too dark. The food was very good but not spectacular. Service was excellent; our server, Marc, was very attentive, even when it got crowded. It was very pleasant.

   We had a really nice dinner. Service, as always, was great. Restaurant was very busy and noisy, which was good to see. Will definitely go back.

   I am a senior so I appreciate Morton's ambiance. It takes me back to a time we should all appreciate regardless of our age. Times are now instant gratification, but, most will appreciate outstanding service and food preparation with care. Mahalo
