INCONSISTENCY. Last time we visited, it was excellent in all areas. This time a disappointing. Often the problem in the Philippines. Inconsistency between visits. Three of the four steaks were sent back. One, it was done OK with respect to doneness, just not hot. The steak apparently sat our for a while before serving. The other two were requested "Medium Plus" but were Medium Rare and had to be cooked longer. The stuffed baked potatoes were similarly warm, but not hot. Service was off. Toward the end of the evening, no one cleared the empty wine glasses and bottle until we asked someone to do it. After dinner, we ordered one Affogato and two Morton's Coffees. The Affogato came but the coffees lagged by a good 15 minutes. Strange, because at this point in the evening, there were only three tables of customers. We summoned the wait staff twice, and then eventually the manager. Even then it still took a long time to get the two Mortons Coffees. And when they did finally arrive, they were not hot, luke warm at best. The steaks were deemed OK, but did not seem to be as tender as on our previous visit, especially the 7 oz Wagyu Tenderloin. Perhaps just a bad night for them, but consistency is what makes a restaurant great. Delivering the same quality, the same level of service such on each and every visit it is the same. This time, just too inconsistent given the cost of the meal. Dinner for four with a bottle of wine, Php42,000. Expect a cut above the rest when it comes to quality. Especially when there are now so many other choices like Ruth's Chris, Wolfgangs, Raging Bull and other fine steak houses.

20 April 2025 Lunch Dining in Morton's The Steakhouse in BGC is definitely a gastronomic experience. Top quality meats and seafood ingredients will satisfy your discriminating palates. The service is equally impressive: prompt, attentive but never intrusive. I commend our servers particularly An and Joy for making our experience in Morton's an unforgettable one. Cheers!

A solid choice for consistently good food, properly trained staff and stellar martinis and wine list. Somm Nick is a true asset to the Bistro Group. Excellent wine knowledge and very unpretentious.

I was happy with the food and the service. However, during our dinner, a big group was transferred in front of us. They were very noisy and ruined our dinner date. Furthermore, I was reminded of a dress code. However, in that big group there was a person wearing shorts and a cap and collarless shirt. I think it is unfair that I got disturbed by the big group that transferred from a private room to outside of our table. Also, everyone should adhere to the dress code if I am asked to comply. The big group ruined our dinner date and it was our first time to dine there. Very disappointed. The dinner was expensive but had no class whatsoever. We could not even pass to go the comfort room because the table and chairs were blocking the passage way.

My wife and I had an amazing anniversary dinner at Morton’s BGC in January—10/10! They surprised us with a “Happy Anniversary” post on our table, a personalized card with our photo, and a complimentary cake. With that great experience in mind, I decided to surprise my wife by booking a table for three, now including our son, for her birthday. I made the reservation through OpenTable, noting the special occasion and hoping for a small celebratory gesture. However, upon arrival at 9 PM, there was no acknowledgment—no note on the table, no greeting, nothing. I assumed something might come later, but as our meal arrived, we encountered another issue: both our filet mignon and Wagyu steak, as well as our son’s grilled salmon, were overly salty. We tried to overlook it to enjoy the night. By 10 PM, we noticed we were the only guests left, and staff were visibly cleaning up, making us feel rushed despite having an hour left. At 10:30 PM, I approached two servers to request a simple “Happy Birthday” plate for my wife. They assured me it was no problem. However, by the time we finished our dessert at 10:50 PM, the birthday plate never arrived. Disappointed, we left feeling let down by the experience. I guess it’s best not to book a late dinner at Morton’s—maybe great service fades as the night goes on.

I was sorely disappointed with how they handled our table reservation. As per their policy, there is a mandatory PHP 1,000 reservation fee for each person dining. No worries. I had paid for it successfully (I have a receipt). After dining, the staff did not deduct said down payment, and I after realizing this, had to call them the next day to ask for a refund, only to be told that the transaction "failed" on their end and that it was my problem to sort out. Why were we not informed of this whilst we were settling the bill? Why is this burden on us when the policy is theirs? They eventually did return the money, but at what cost? With all due respect, the food was ordinary. The salad was tragic, the steak was properly cooked but flavorless, but the sides made up for some of it. The service was good, the staff were polite, but with the sheer size of this place, it took four people raising our hands to call their attention. The place wasn't even half-filled that evening!? You may try it out for yourself, but I suggest you don't. The service

Food was average. Ambience was really good , with live music (violin). However, steak wasn’t special at all just usual.
