   Food was great. Service was nice and friendly. We sat on patio overlooking the river so it was a pretty view and fun tonwatch all the river boats come in.

   Asked for medium steak and it was well done. Food had no flavor and just not good. Even told the waitress we did not want steak over done, and it was well done. Never going back.

   Everything was great. We ordered the beef short ribs with steamed veggies and the short ribs were so tender, music playing, it was an excellent atmosphere. Will go again.

   It will do for dinner in a pinch (e.g., not going out in a heavy rainstorm), but it was pretty disappointing. Sun dried tomatoes were the “star” of the caprese flatbread, but there were only 3 tiny pieces on the otherwise bland meal. The shrimp and grits were equally disappointing, with only 5 very small shrimp in a flavorful but greasy bowl of grits. The high point of the meal was the skillet cookie. Ambience was poor, with lots of noise and a lot of chatter from the “manager” loudly calling out meal orders to the staff in the open kitchen. With so many good restaurants in Savannah, I can’t recommend this one unless you are essentially stuck in the hotel.

   For breakfast I’d recommend the Banana & Pecan waffle, My husband had the buffet for breakfast, it was pretty good and a good selection. Supper stay away from the short rib. It was tough and no flavor. Mashed potatoes were instant and u could tell . The veggies weren’t cooked they were still hard My husband had the fish and chips I tried them and it was delicious. That’s what I should have gotten.

    I would have rated the restaurant higher based alone on table service. Our server was excellent. With that being said, I read the reviews on past experiences of others and was hesitant to eat there. But, after traveling all day we were tired. The food and pricing were poor at best. The only good thing was the She Crab Soup. We ordered the Rib Eye Steak Dinner, She Crab Soup, and Brussels Sprout Appetizer. Needless to say, something we ate disagreed with me. I can not in good conscience recommend eating here. Go across the street, go anywhere but here.
