We love mashed potato - it's the food equivalent of a great big hug. Our mash is made with only the very best Maris Piper potatoes - and it's made fresh. Not that day, not that hour, but right before you tuck in. That way it still has the creamy fluffy texture we've whipped into it.
Add a piping hot pie, free range sausages or vegetarian option.. pour on your choice of fresh gravy.. and you'r done. Feel all warm and friendly.

    It felt a tad chaotic and disorganized in a small space. I had a reservation, but that didn’t seem to matter. Not a complaint as we were seated right away, but was an observation. They also had a sign saying to wait outside to be seated, but no one came for quite a while despite my peering through the window, until I peaked my head in as there was a queue forming behind us. Food was tasty and came quickly. Just would’ve wanted a more relaxed dining experience.

    We arrived early and was able to be seated. Food came out quickly and was plenty. There was no rushing us out as soon as we had finished even though they were getting busy. Food started to run out so just shows how popular this little hidden gem can be. Good variety of food - mains and puddings - the brownies were so good!

    I had an amazing experience, the pie was SOOO good (I personally didn't like the sausages tho), waiters were friendly and we were served quickly. High quality products and excellent value for money. For two people we spent around 30£ tip included. I recommend it.

    En tant que Français en vacances à Londres nous nous sommes arrêtés dans ce restaurant. Purées au choix ainsi que saucisses ou tourtes à la viande. Délicieux. Dommage que nous soyons arrivés tard et qu’on nous ai mis presque mis dehors mais sinon serveurs sympathiques.

    Service was great. I was greeted at the door and promptly shown to a table. My order was taken quickly and my food was served quick and hot. Just what you want from a pie and mash shop.

    If you like pies, sausages, mash and gravy this is the place. Great value for money. Lashings of gravy and lovely staff. Perfect comfort food for this time of year.

    This was our second time to Mother Mash and wasn’t disappointed, food is good and the staff are outstanding, helpful attentive and funny. We met the chef and was so welcoming. Well worth a visit, but best to book in advance as it does get quite busy.
