Our dinner and our server were very good. It was difficult to figure out where the restaurant was located within the hotel. The outside door that had the restaurant name on it was locked. Within the hotel there was a sign for the bar and a sign for the restaurant. We waited in the restaurant for some time until a staff person told us that they were serving people across the hall in the bar. Other than that, everything was great!

If you like frozen salad and primitive food presentation, then this place is for you!

The restaurant wasn’t open as advertised in the Open Table app. My wife and I had to settle for the restaurant across the hall. The menu wasn’t the same so we didn’t really get to enjoy the experience. Accuracies/updates to the hours of operation for Motor City Kitchen should be made to avoid confusion.

Thank you for your feedback. Our apologies for the confusion. We are just one restaurant with two dining spaces. We service the same menu in both spaces and flex to utilize one or both of the spaces depending on service levels. Again, our apologies for the confusion. Thank you for spending Valentines Day with us. We hope to welcome you and your wife back.

We went on Christmas Day for dinner, according to the Bartender, there was only one person cooking in the kitchen. There was only one bartender as well. It took a long time to get our drinks as well as the food. When the food came everything was lukewarm except for the chicken wings one person in our party ordered. I do understand that it was a holiday but maybe operations should have been adjusted for the amount of people that were there. I was told that even though they have reservations they didn't necessarily use them so people were signed up and reserved but other people just walked in so maybe operate according to the reservations and the fact that you are still open for walk-ins.

Terrrrrrrible! Do not recommend at all! It is in a hotel and there were bugs, the place was empty on a Saturday evening, and the staff looked annoyed that we were there

Had breakfast, lunch, and dinner here, each on different days. Food was great with large portions, and service was very friendly and remembered me.

Very nice looking space. It was practically empty in the dining area. The menu was limited, but had some interesting items on it. The wings they brought for my 81 year old mother were slathered with buffalo sauce and she could not eat them. The brought her more wings without the sauce, but charged us for both orders. My wife's dish was supposed to have mushrooms, her dish did not have mushrooms in it. She informed the waitstaff and the server told her they had run out of mushrooms. The main reason she ordered the dish was for the mushrooms. Again, this dish was not removed from our bill. The waitstaff was certainly friendly but they were far too inattentive to their customers. I guess it's my fault for expecting fine dining service from a establishment that was less than fine dining.

Service was terrible. We reserved for 6 people at 2pm, we were there at 2pm. They were rude when we entered. We were sat about 10 minutes later floor and chairs were dirty. The place was empty so not sure why we had to ask for menus and water. That was the last time we were greeted. We left with no service. Terrible experience!!!

Well, Motor City Kitchen was NOT opened! They close at 11am although I was able to make a reservation for 1:15 through Opentable! Round Bar, the restaurant across the hall was open and we were able to eat there although this outing was for a Mother’s Day brunch and my party included my Mother along with 4 children with 3 being toddlers, so we weren’t too happy about dining in a hotel bar and potentially disturbing the other guest with the sounds of CoComelon playing on the kids iPad while they’re trying to down one at the bar. Additionally, the service was sub-par at best and food was even worse! Even though the place was half empty! Food came out late and in increments items were being missed toddlers wanting their pancakes my sister had asked to ask multiple times to also bring out, getting honey (without asking for it) in place of syrup because they were out and a huge sweaty kitchen attendant bring the food out….just terrible! A large party of older men & women got up and left because no one ever came to their table! The only plus was their truffle fries, those were good although they were a small little basket for $10 and these were on the appetizer menu. All and all me any my family will NEVER dine here again, our Mother’s Day meal was essentially ruined!

Inside the doubletree hotel. Bar area can get a little loud, but food was great and good pricing!
