   Premise’s extremely dirty. Glasses stuck to table. Cutlery dirty. Table food smeared over table. Windows and doors looked they hades been cleaned in a long time. Nice food but overall premises unhygienic feel to premises. Won’t be going back nor recommending to friends and family.

   very basic pub fare. the chicken schnitzels are the reconstituted chicken variety, like you get from a supermarket; cheap chicken salt on overcooked chips; soggy salad. pretty disappointing.

   Very disappointing with the food last night. My wife ordered a main and asked for potatoes instead of chips and was told that potatoes weren’t on the menu, she also asked to have vegetables instead of salad she was served rock hard vegetables. We haven’t been to this venue for more that ten years but it’s such a shame to experience the decline here.

   Food was delicious. Would be better if there were more vegetarian options other than a salad and pizza. That being said the vegetarian food we ate was incredible and the service was above and beyond. We were made to feel extremely welcome and attended to by staff.

   Fabulous night listening to live music and enjoying our meals. Friendly staff,great service. Our meals, entree and main were both tasty and enjoyable. My only complaint would be that their desserts are limited and not very appealing. Overall a great night and we look forward to returning.

   The Mount pub is a magnificent venue. Great service and that old pub charm that’s well maintained. Food was really good, all four of us enjoyed our meals. Awesome views and I highly recommend.

    I booked luch for father day and the only sitting left was 2:30pm. It was the biggest mistake that I will not make again. We were seated of to a room off the side called the Oriental Room. The main area was nearly empty with lots of messy tables. We were seated and forgotten. My husband went to ask about ordering drinks, we were told to order at the bar. 10 mins later a waitress came to take our order and we asked about drinks and she said we could order through her. We ordered drinks and were told the kitchen closes at 3pm and we had to get our orders in. Seriously why take a booking at 2:30pm if we only had 30 mins before the kitchen closed. We ordered and and 10 mins later our entree came out followed by our mains. One of the nost disappointing meals I have ever had. My husbands Beef Cheek Bourguignon was over cooked and the outside of the beef had a burnt overcooked and not very pleasing taste. My daughters pizza if you could call it that lacked taste and looked undercooked. My calamari, chips and salad was not good. We were again forgotten until my husband asked for the bill which was sent to our table. We were not asked if we would like tea, coffee or desserts but I guess it was after 3pm. A very disappointing and very average meal. Oh and if you have spiced cider on the menu! Make sure you have enough for all sittings.
