   We had not been to Mulligans for a few years. It was not as we expected. We were looking for a quiet place to eat and see the sunset on our last night before going home. When we arrived, there was a live band playing in the bar. I thought it was a private party. It was not. My curry, veggies and rice dish was really good.

   Food was mediocre. Expected a better ambiance for the Wailea area. Plastic tables and chairs. Was disappointed.

   We came here for dinner on a Thursday night. We didn’t realize there would be a magic show happening that night. We sat outside on the deck away from the show that was inside. The waitress tried charging us $10/person (there were 4 of us) for the show. She added it to our bill. We refused to pay it and she removed it. The food was mediocre at best. The kids got the Mac & cheese, I got the Guinness Pot Pie which had a strange almost sour taste, and my husband got the Reuben sandwich. The sandwich was dripping with dressing which made everything soggy and soupy. The outside deck area was a bit of a mess with loads of mismatched tables and chairs all over. If they put even the slightest bit of effort in it could be a nice little outdoor spot but it reminded me of a 90’s banquet hall. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you’re going for a beer.

   Fun place! The fish & chips are the best anywhere! We visit every time we’re in Maui. Highly recommend!

   They did not honor the open table reservation for a table in the bar area. I got a shrug and was told there were no tables left and was seated outside instead after already being charged a cover charge. If I'm going to be charged a cover charge, I should be seated where the music is being performed.

   Love this place, live music is amazing, food was delicious! Waitress took forever to greet me and she started serving guests that arrived after I did first, I started to leave then she brought water to my table! I still tip her very well even though her service was horrible!!! I went back two days later and got the same waitress 😫

    It was noisy and raucous. Not an enjoyable experience at all. We couldn’t wait to leave. Another bizarre happening was a couple of ladies dancing in and around tables with which they had no associations.
