   Russell gave absolutely phenomenal service. Having a brief history lesson of out food really elevated the experience and made it so much fun! I loved every moment of our experience. There was not an unfriendly person here. We will be back and hopefully soon :)

   We had an absolutely phenomenal meal. Sarah, our server was top notch and walked us through the tasting menu like a pro. We did the caviar, oyster and squash upgrades. Each was worth the cost. One dish felt like it didn't belong with the rest of the tasting menu - it fell completely flat. It was some fried pepper dish with a buttermilk sauce and dumpling. It was borderline flavorless and the concept didn't align with the rest of the tasting menu. Everything else was SO amazing it didn't really matter, but hopefully Musaafer drops that from the tasting menu and doesnt keep it from a sense of pride. It was evident why they received their star, but if they want to keep it, pacing has to improve. Sometimes the lull between dishes made sense and at other times it didn't at all. For pacing I think they either need to steer completely into their tasting menu, dropping the individual dishes, or have servers and sections dedicated to service. I'd highly recommend ownership take a trip to Sepia in Chicago to get a better feel for pacing. Also, like I mentioned, Sarah was excellent at walking us through the tasting menu (as well as the wine pairings). A couple times the backwaters dropped the dishes off while Sarah was stuck taking orders. They did not explain the dishes well, if at all. As the restaurant emptied out, they did not compensate by adjusting the music (it may have even been turned up). By the end of the evening, conversation across the table became untenable. I want to emphasize that the cumulative negatives were minor compared to the things done well, but they did affect the overall experience when we came in with high expectations and past Michelin star dining experience.

   My wife and I celebrated our 26-year anniversary this past Saturday. Our experience at Musaafer was absolutely amazing. The ambiance is the best we have ever experienced at a restaurant. It had a club vibe but the music was not overwhelming. The food is superb with flavors that are unmatched. Our experience at Musaafer was the best we've ever had in Houston (we have lived here 20 years).

   Beautiful space, beautiful presentation as well. I highly recommend the chaanp lamb chop appetizer and the black sesame miso cod for main dish. You won’t be disappointed, Both are amazing!!

   Very fun restaurant. It’s almost an immersive experience. Food was amazing, the drinks were very good, and the wait staff was very knowledgeable and inviting. Looking online the menus can seem non-descript as most of the mains are curries rather than single entrees like they may seem but I was relieved to find that out because that’s what I was really looking for.

   Perfect spot to celebrate my wife's birthday. We did the tasting menu and every item, with the exception of the final little dessert (which tasted like soap) was fantastic. We will definitely be back.

   Wonderful experience with delicious beautifully presented food and great atmosphere. It was a little loud so hard to understand the waiter who was great and explained everything to us. The flavors and aromas amazing and the dessert over the top awesome

   The visit of Musaafer restaurant was unforgettable. The atmosphere was elegant the staff very attentive and the food exceptional, the show cooking was amazing, the cocktail ere perfect. Highly recommended.

    We loved the food, but we couldn’t wait to leave, which it is a shame since I raved to my family about it. We sat in the back, our table was to sit 6 people, so our party of 4 were to far apart and with the noise level between the music and people talking loudly it was uncomfortable. We went to celebrate my husband birthday, but all we did was to eat our delicious dinner and communicate with facial expressions a few words exchange, and at one point we started text messaging each other, my son order the food since we couldn’t hear very well. I usually don’t complain about a slow service because usually we are having fun, but last night it was slow and we felt it to the point that we didn’t order dessert. I had been twice before one for a happy hour, and second time we sat outside, we had a great time. Go for the food it is an amazing experience.
