   Unique spot in the center of Clinton. Four course dinner with generous portions and exceptional food. Heather our server was attentive and provided first rate service. Recommend highly

   The food was not good steak had no taste and the service took forever just to get a drink. **Since posting this, the owner reached out to me to rectify the situation and was very apologetic of our experience. He offered a full refund and gift cards to make things right. I appreciate the fact that he reached out and made an attempt to rectify the situation. We will definitely be going back to give it another shot.**

   It was my husband's birthday. We enjoyed the Chefs Adventure last night for the first time. Where the chef decides what to serve us. We had crab cakes, baked stuffed shrimp and chateaubriand with Yukon gold mashed potatoes. Everything was exceptional.

   I’ll start off by saying that I love Nataz. We have been going here since they opened and North Branford before that. I am rating our most recent experience. I’ve never had bad service here before. While the food was generous and plentiful, service was terrible. We ordered a bottle of wine shortly after we arrived. We had to ask for it 3 times. Half an hour later our server came over to tell us that they were out of that wine. We were so angry, my friend and my husband ordered a glass and I had a drink. It took about 45 minutes to get our meals. One of my friends asked for a change to her dish and the server said it could be done. Over half an hour after she ordered she was told that the change couldn’t be done to this particular dish. Ok, but telling me NOW? Finally 3 out of 4 of us get our dishes. The 4th - my friend who changed her meal - did not; the server said since her order was put in later it would be 15 minutes until she got hers. Shouldn’t you have delivered them all at once? I ordered coffee with my dessert. I got the dessert and was almost finished when it was delivered. The sever asked if I wanted cream or sugar. Shouldn’t you deliver it without asking if you’re that busy? Then I had to ask twice for the cream. The food, once we got it, was delicious. I hope this was a one-off. We won’t be back for a while (if ever).

    The experience started off great, the grazing board and salads were very good. We waiting a little longer than expected for our glasses of wine but wait wasn’t terrible. During this time the tables filled quickly but there appeared to only be 2 waiters for the entire 2nd floor and that’s when service became pretty much non-existent. During the meal our water glasses were never refilled. When we finish our entrees we waited for an extended period of time. The people at the table next to us were very vocal in complaining about the poor service, threatening to leave so efforts were being made to appease them. Eventually the waiter stopped by and apologized for the wait, cleared our plates and said someone would be coming to take the dessert order. A waitress went to the couple seated behind us, who came in much later than us, was chatting with them and took their dessert orders. Still no one came to our table. Another table, a couple who arrived long after we did, got served dessert & coffee. We were just being ignored. After an extended period our waiter finally came back and asked if we’d been helped. At that point we just wanted to go home after being there for 2 hours so we asked to have my daughter’s dessert, which is included in the pre-fixed price, to go. They didn’t have any lactose-free dessert options so we only got the one dessert. The waiter did acknowledge the delays but there was no service recovery. Then we got the bill, which was substantial, and it included a 20% service fee! I understand any place can have an off night but given the cost, not sure I’d be up to try again.
