This was an exceptional experience. The food was outstanding, and the service was great. The choice of food was overwhelmingly good. The Lobster was fantastic, poached salmon and the lobster mac and cheese too! Even the Caesar salad was amazing! We could have carried on piling our plates with the starters, but we had to save space for the roast. The roast was honestly the best we have had, ever! The beef and pork were both divine - very tender, and the crackling on the pork was perfectly crispy. The roast potatoes were super crunchy, all veg delicious, and yorkshires too. I can't fault a thing! We were so full up for dessert but managed to fit in the delicious sticky toffee pudding and a few chocolate treats. I'd love to go back and experience it all over again. The only fault I have to mention is that 2 hours allocation was not enough, and it's a shame we were rushed to finish up (there were 6 of us - 4 adults, 2 kids). We could have done with an extra 30mins.

Ned’s feast is a buffet that comes with a hefty price tag but having now been we can see why. Took my sister for a birthday treat and had to book months ahead. On going to the venue, it’s amazingly grand and opulent with a tiny caveat of it’s not immediately clear where exactly of the many eateries in the cavernous halls you should go to. There’s live jazz throughout the feast which was lovely and the overall atmosphere is relaxed but lively and never so loud as to be overwhelming. The toilets are worth a visit partly to see the old safety deposit boxes and giant safe that are located in the same area. The food available itself has the same caveats as with any buffet so don’t judge the food by the same standards as you would for individually served meals in high end restaurants. However what’s available (lobster! Oysters! Unlimited!) is at the pricier end of what you’d normally find at a buffet and the overall quality is good by buffet standards, price notwithstanding. There’s a 2hr turnaround time on the tables which is enough time to sample everything. Be strategic and take small amounts if you genuinely want to try everything. We left incredibly full and very satisfied. Finally the service - our waitress Timea was amazing and so good that we would consider coming back just for her. She elevated the experience immeasurably and we hope her team see this and recognise the immense value she adds.

Such a great night. The live music is brilliant, the food is delicious and everyone gets up and dances at the end what’s not to love.

Overall nice experience and great food! You are given two hours, which we were told about during the booking process but we were told 7 times throughout our meal how long we had left and how we have to leave at that time which was all abit much, especially when staff were cutting in our conversations to tell us. We were also visiting for a special occasion which I had mentioned when booking and also via email, no effort was made to even mention this or go above and beyond! All very average, I would say service has declined since I was there last year.

We had a fantastic time, from the moment we entered to when we left. Everyone was welcoming and wanted you to have the best experience. The food is amazing, with so much choice and beautifully presented. The waiting staff were very attentive and no one kept mentioning about when you have to leave your table, as I have read in other reviews. We loved the live band playing Jazz/Swing, and the building itself is grand. I would definitely recommend eating here.

Over-rated. Not worth the money. It's like any buffet at an all inclusive resort and the service was terrible.

Food and service are amazing, however I do think £110 per adult (plus 14.5% service charge) is quiteoverpriced

Our experience was not the best and I wouldn't return. I expected a lot more for the price. Our initial welcome was cold and rude from FOH reception. We weren't acknowledged for a while as the staff member was on the FOH ipad. We were 10 mins early as booking stated to arrive early and we were ushered off to the bar despite seeing many tables that weren't occupied. When we returned we were put in a corner seat by all the cutlery so we were constantly disturbed. It was supposed to be a romantic birthday meal. I was driving and was told I couldn't have a mocktail for my inclusive drink only fizzy drinks, which for the price I found shocking when you were offered a glass of wine if drinking alcohol. The food was lovely. However very cold. I was disappointed at the lack of vegetables. It was advertised as a Sunday feast/ roast dinner. I would have expected more than green beans and broccoli mixed together. The waiter we had constantly reached over me whilst I was eating to remove empty plates and glasses. I would have expected them to wait until finished or not reach over me it is basic etiquette. The ambience was lovely. The desserts and some of the food that was warm was out of this world. However, just not worth the price tag and massive service charge which I felt wasn't earned or warranted.

Both my husband and I enjoyed our time at The Ned Sunday lunch buffet. We were seated and offered a complimentary drink- I liked that I was accommodated with a soft drink as I’m pregnant. The starters of salads and salmon were amazing. I really enjoyed the selection of starters and found it to be very tasty. The roast dinner was nice but could have been better in terms of less fatty cuts of meat and more flavour in the vegetables. The broccoli is very aldente which I liked but my partner didn’t. The ambience of the place is amazing - the band and live singer really makes it special and feels luxury. I do feel the price doesn’t reflect the amount in which the majority of people eat. It’s rich food so I do feel that £75-85 pp for the food would be more reasonable. £110pp is expensive. The desserts were nice and I found a lot of selection. The toilets were not clean and could use an attendant in there on Sundays to manage the cleanliness of the cubicles and maintain toilet roll supply. Overall, we enjoyed our time there and would return but perhaps with friends as we found it would most likely be more enjoyable as a group booking.
