New Corner was founded in 1936 by Vincenzo Colandrea as a one room pizzeria. Through hard work and endless hours of supervision and determination, New Corner Restaurant has expanded into a full-service, third generation Italian restaurant that is now considered a "Landmark" to visit when in Brooklyn. Second Generation Management was passed to Vincenzo's son, Joseph Colandrea, in 1963. Currently Joseph's son, Vincent Colandrea, is the third generation manager who, adhering to a strict formula inherited from his father and grandfather, maintain the very qualities that make this restaurant what it is today.

We are proud to be serving Brooklyn for over 83 years.

I went there July 30th. I’m very familiar with this restaurant since it’s been in business for many years. I haven’t been there for awhile so I didn’t know what to expect. The decor hasn’t changed and is very dated but nostalgic. The calamari was delicious. Probably the best I’ve had at a restaurant. Wife had veal and chicken francese with string beans. Very good. The potato croquette was over fried and burnt. I had shrimp with clams and mussels. Very good. Prices are reasonable. Manny our waiter was friendly and experienced. Would go back again.

We celebrated an Aunt's 80th birthday and they were wonderful about bringing her dessert with a candle and several waiters singing Happy Birthday. Very accommodating....

Went for the music made reservations to hear the singer.We were seated on other side of restaurant my girl friend wanted to leave spoke to manager. He did nothing to correct the problem.

We went to celebrate my Aunt's birthday. Dinner was very good . When the gentleman started singing we thought no way. He was excellent it was a very nice experience.
