   Great experience with a good selection of seasonal options featuring interesting twists on some dishes, such as the Buttermilk Turkey Burger or the Peasant Goujons. Service was enjoyable

   The venue is lovely, the staff are nice and the overall location is great. It maybe that my red mullet was the wrong choice for me, but it felt like a bit of pasta with fish just dumped on the top. The fish was not particularly very tasty, with the strong taste coming from the pasta and chilli sauce. The veg topped side we bought was not needed in the end…. The chips had no rosemary, but to be fair they did refund them…. My wife’s meal was much better than mine, so, my choice was the wrong one. The cheese and biscuits were very nice, and if I went back my meal selection may have altered my initial view…. Overall, an okay evening with my wife….

    Our first visit to this restaurant and overall the experience was very favourable, good ambiance, lovely clean decor and good menu choices. The food when it came was excellent, tasty and filling and we would certainly go back. Although busy the service was a little slow it took a while to get a drinks order in and our waiter distracted (too busy chatting to his friends at the next door table), he took our food order without writing anything down and despite lots of 'amazing, fabulous and lovelies' instantly forgot what we had ordered and we had to repeat the full order twice more. If they sharpen up the welcome and service this is a great venue
