Nice fairly new spot in Downingtown that now has liquor license. Cocktails are on point. Best Paper Plane in recent memory. Maybe best grilled Caesar salad we have had. Diverse enough menu for either all small plates or full blown entree dinner. Small adjustments to menu descriptions and tweaks to some dishes based on customer feedback will hopefully help keep this spot thriving. Intend to be back.

This was our third time dining at Noble Goat, the first time since their liquor license. The restaurant was WAY too loud, given 2 rowdy tables of 8. (Maybe due to liquor :) ). Food was fair, but not worth the price. Too way to long to be served. Extremely limited menu and even more so if you are Gluten Free. Server was overwhelmed, not taking order for an hour, and this was my dad's bday celebration. Drink was charged, but never received, which was amended on the final bill. We were willing to give them some grace to "work things out" when they were new, but will likely go someplace else, better value for the money.

My brother and sister in-law joined us for dinner their first time- he ordered a cheesburger he said was really good- the fries were limp. oh well! My sister in-law had a salad that was very good. Dee and I had the trout- a definite winner-excellently prepared and presented- we all ordered drinks as usual. I ordered a Vodka martini. It was brought in a circular glass - the discussion at the table turned to how much Vodka was in the glass. I said it had to be an ounce and half- wow! The waiter brought Liz the owner over- she was very well prepared. She had her measured glass. Low and behold it did hold 3ozs. She was right! Perception is everything- most people see me as a older short man, but the reality is I'm actually 6' 3", blond hair and muscular! See you guys next week! Bill

Our server, Brian was awesome! However, we were disappointed and a little frustrated when we got there, and we were told that they now have their liquor license and we were not able to pour the drinks that we made at home or if we had brought a bottle of wine we were going to be charged $25 for a cork fee. I made our dinner reservations about three days in advance, and the website specifically said the restaurant was still a BYO and that you could bring your own wine and cocktails. We received no notification of the restaurant obtaining their liquor license. Given the short turn around, a grace period on the BYO alcohol would have been appreciated, as well as a more reasonably priced cork fee. Overall the food and service was good, certainly hope this restaurant succeeds, but they may want to reconsider the expensive cork fee.

Still some opening pains but this place has a lot of great potential!! Service was quite friendly, drinks are fairly priced and the food is quite tasty and well prepared. Prices do not kill you. Cheers!!!

We had a great experience our first time dining at Noble Goat on a Friday evening for dinner. The food was some of the best I've eaten in the area in a long time. The waitress was very nice and personable. The ambience was great and the restaurant is decorated very nice. They have large plates and small plates to choose from. The portions are definitely smaller than your regular chain restaurants so you end up paying more for each plate to make up a normal portion size. That being said, the food was so good I would definitely go back.
