Nobu Atlanta is situated at Phipps Plaza in the affluent Buckhead neighborhood. With influence from Atlanta's lush canopy of trees and Japanese arts and crafts, the bar and lounge area features a white onyx bar volume that sits in front of a 12-foot-long river rock art installation while folded cast glass pendants cast a soft glow on the bar. The dining room takes you to traditional Japanese garden pavilions that were often used for ceremonies and rituals while overscale pendants made from shoji paper create the look of elongated, abstracted paper lanterns. Design language that is a continuation of Chef Nobu Matsuhisa's imaginative and innovative culinary offerings celebrates nature and is integrated through the use of different wood tones

    We had one of the most pleasurable dining experiences today and wanted to come here and proclaim our good fortune. The restaurant itself is chic and ambient in decor and design, the food was authentic and delicious, and the service was an absolute knockout. Our server, Brittany L., was not only an expert on the very extensive menu, but her recommendations elevated our experience beyond our expectations and then some. Y’all get that baby corn, I’m telling you it will knock your socks off. The vibes were right, the drinks were divine, and the music was bumping. Highly recommend, thank you for the exceptional experience tonight, and thank you again Brittany, you are a rockstar.

    Food was excellent. But server gave us the bill unsolicited before we got dessert. I found it odd, but paid anyway given the experience was good up to that point. Unfortunately, sat for the next 30 minutes waiting after I paid and they told me the kitchen was behind.

    I’ve been to a lot of Nobu’s major location and this was by far the most disappointing. To spend that type of money but not feel any actually interest or excitement in the food was one thing, but for this to be a 4-star resturant, nothing about it felt worth it when it came to experience. I hope that this location takes note from Miami and NY and elevates the experience.

    The party went to Nobu to compair to Umi. There was no comparision. Umi is outstanding.
