   Food was really good, everything done perfectly. The noise level was good, not too loud. Service was slow for some reason, but even though it was slow, it was still nice.

   Celebrated a birthday. Excellent food, cocktails, and dessert. The birthday mochi was appreciated. Will definitely return.

   I recommended my parents try Nobu for my mother’s birthday because I’ve always had a great birthday dinner here and they’ve never been before. My parents weren’t made to feel special. No one said happy birthday to my mother besides the hostess. They really missed the mark and were disappointed. I feel terrible because I sent them to Nobu based on the experience I’ve always had eating there.

   We let the waiter select a series of courses, some of which are very popular. We were very happy with the mushrooms ceviche spicy tune over crunchy rice and the raw fish in ginger. The remaining dishes were either tasteless if just bad. The wagyu dumplings were cold and almost inedible. The miso glazed cod just as soon be a fish dessert it was way too sweet — sucking sweet. The desserts were outstanding. The price point is exceedingly high for the lack of enjoyment. The restaurant music was very loud but it was New Year’s Eve. A bit too clubby for dinner. One and done — see no reason to return.

   Server didn’t take our order for like an hour and really didn’t care too much about waiting on us. This was outside patio.

   I think this is my last visit to the Nobu in Scottsdale.  I booked a 5 o’clock reservation and apparently so did everybody else because I found myself standing outside in a line until the doors opened. I was then given probably the worst table in the place next to the restroom, the only seating option was to face the restroom so not good. Our waiter was friendly, however not well-versed on the menu. Everything we ordered was OK but not amazing. When dinner for two is close to $400 and there’s no alcohol on the bill, dinner should be amazing in my opinion. I travel and I’ve been to multiple NoBu’s across the country, I wish the one in my home state was better.

   Food on point as always. Server great but they weren’t prepared for how busy they were. Very slow service and drinks.

   Worst service we have ever had there. Put extra items on our bill that they had to take off. Glad I looked I usually don’t. Not good
