Noche is an authentic tribute to Mexican BBQ featuring popular smoked meats and sides cooked for family and friends during celebration. Aaron Diaz, founder and operator is bringing the classic Mexican BBQ flair to Louisville KY keeping true to Mexico's classic tingas, antojitos and unique salsas. Aaron was born in Texas and grew up with a unique Mexican twist on the classic backyard BBQ, surrounded by familia, memories and flavorful food. In Mexico a BBQ is more than just a gathering, it is a gesture of love when one cooks for all, creating a moment in time when a memory is tangible for eternity. This was our first time visiting, and overall, my experience was great. The cocktails were excellent, and the atmosphere was inviting. However, our initial interaction with the first bartender was less than ideal as she was not very polite or friendly. Thankfully, the second bartender, a gentleman, stepped in and provided exceptional service—he was attentive and very helpful. The entrées were fantastic! We ordered the steak fajitas, which were flavorful and generously portioned—definitely big enough to share. I highly recommend trying them. While the service started off rocky, the experience improved significantly, and we look forward to returning.

It’s a great venue and fun, except if you’re a large party. The tables had no lights or candles in the tables. Lighting was making it hard to read the menu.

The restaurant setting is very unique set inside the church building, but feels like wasted space in the loft area. My husband’s margarita was good, but my “special” Old Fashioned was a bit sweet. As Texan transplants, we were excited about the “mix of Tex-Mex and West Texas BBQ” promised on the website, and the brisket did represent well, but jt was really the only “BBQ” item on the whole menu. I got the Tinga chicken tacos - and as someone who is used to spice, it was flavorful but very spicy. So all in all, it was a good experience with opportunity for small improvements!
