   I had made a reservation for Valentine’s Day. We traveled all the way from Jersey to try this restaurant. We had gotten seated and no server or anyone came to check in on us for at least 25-30 minutes after arrival. We were so hungry after traveling from a long day of work. And never even got the time of day. We paid a $20 deposit to end up leaving due to being so hungry and no one paying the time of day. We didn’t even give our drink order! No water was given to hold us off. This was a terrible experience especially for celebrating Valentine’s Day trip!

   1. No hostess stand. No hostess. You come in and you're literally in a stairwell with no signage and no staff- you don't know where to go for what. You step into the lower restaurant and no staff in site. UNDERSTAFFED TO THE MAX. 2. We had the VIP experience for valentines and had to go upstairs and hang out standing up and wait. 3. Their glasses are not real, plastic not glass. 4. Many meals I saw came with plastic silverware and not plated properly. 5. Look at their menu- one of the options is 'chicken breast' 6. We never saw our mashed potatoes we ordered- they gave us rice instead. 7. Manager came and apologized for kitchen being behind but they have 2 kitchens and upstairs only has ten tables. 8. Dj was good but very loud- hope you weren't trying to talk to your valentines date. 9. They had some guy singing at some point but he looked like he didn't want to be there. Dj had to sit next to him like he was his hype man. 10. Dinner took 2 hours but it wasn't multiple courses times nicely spaced out. 11. Our server couldn't even run our check because it was her third day- we had to wait another fifteen minutes until they found the manager to run our check. 12. While we're eating with the VIP experience the staff starts removing other tables to get ready for the hookah experience that happens after dinner. Guys come in and they are sitting on the back of the booth, no sitting in the booth but feet on the bench and behind on the back of the booth. 13. When we were first sat down we realized the booth was fabric, real fabric and therefore had food on it so could only sit certain places. It was not a wipeable leather like most places where they could come clean it so it was just dirty. 14. Hallway to the bathroom has so many chips and damage to the walls and bathroom isn't very luxurious for a place like this. 15. Alcohol is cheap, didn't need to be.    Small and very crowed we sat for almost 1hr without any water on Valentines Day and heard the food was overpriced for no reason but wasn’t that great

   We waiting for 20 mins to sit down, then another 35 minutes and no waiter every came to give us a menu or take an order. We ended up leaving, drove an hour just to support a black owned restaurant just find out that we wasted time sitting just to see other couples eat on Valentine day. Need better service. Might try again in the future.

   Scam! We never got seated! Table was at 8 but we had to leave at 945 because we had some other paid activities ! Everyone was rude and didn’t care about us sitting sooo long. Came all the way from dc! I’ll never book again.

   We had a reservation at 8pm we didn’t get seated till after 10pm. The service was bad because they didn’t have enough workers. As well as the lied on 3 different occasions. The food was cold. Just a bad experience

   Hi yall we showed up to our 7 pm appointment and were not only seated basically next to another couple but put towards the front door with this constant chiming noise every 5 seconds. I'm not one to complain and we decided it wasn't a big deal and we wanted to stay. We then got surprised there was a set menu for the night. me being a picky eater chose this restaurant and booked an appointment after looking at the menu that would have worked for me. That was a let down would like refund thank you

   I booked a reservation for 12 people at this restaurant for 12:30 PM on Sunday, 2/2, and unfortunately, the experience was far from what we expected. Despite calling ahead to confirm, we were met with unnecessary hassle about our reservation upon arrival, as if we hadn’t already made arrangements. Service was extremely slow—while we received our mimosas around 1:15 PM, our food was still nowhere to be seen. After inquiring, we were told that a larger party upstairs, who had paid more, was prioritized over us. This was incredibly frustrating, as we had already been waiting for nearly two hours. By the time our food finally arrived, it was cold, making the wait even more unacceptable. The bartender did her best to accommodate us, which we appreciated, but the overall experience was disappointing. No party should be delayed simply because another group spent more money. Customer service and fairness should be a priority. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant for anyone.

    I had a 12:30pm reservation. it was 2:30pm and we still had no food. The venue was having a party upstairs that it appeared was more important. We were asked for our open table reservation multiple times as if there was as a disconnect between open table and the establishment My party and I requested a refund in left
