   Great food—interesting flavors, pricey but worth it. We were fortunate to have an early reservation and not be crushed against other diners which can happen in the tables for two since the restaurant is so small. Cole was a wonderful server. Nolia never disappoints.

   The food, service, and people were wonderful. It was my first time there, and it ended up being a little louder than what I expected. But that will not stop me on returning at a later date.

   One of our favorites and best restaurants in Cincinnati. The food is always amazing and the staff are great. Love being able to watch the chefs cook and prep food as well.

   The food was amazing and so was the service. The owner approached our table to check on us and talk about the menu. The food was not a typical meal which I appreciate the exposure to different types of cuisines. I will definitely come here again!

   So glad we were able to eat here again, the Mama Wanda and Chicken Gizzards were a favorite, and of course the bread.

   The food here seems to focus more on appearance and aesthetic, than it does on quality and taste. The menu is extremely limited and “small plates” / sides are often one overpriced vegetable or cornbread. This place does have a clean and cozy ambiance, but everything else can be underwhelming and upsetting.

   Being from south Louisiana, I really wanted to love this place. The vibe was good but overall the food was ok. I expected more from all the reviews and accolades they have online. We were sat at the back bar per our reservation. The bar was cool but way too cramped. We had people on both sides basically touching elbows. I don’t mind sitting at bars but really need to eliminate a coupe seats so people can have a little personal space while they eat.  I must say Charlie and Cole, bartenders, were amazing. Super friendly, attentive and engaging. Made us a couple great cocktails. The food was beautiful at the presentation level. We tried the cornbread (average) along with the stone crab claws for starter’s. The crabs were tasty and the sauce they were served in was good. I would say they seemed harder to remove and eat than what I am used to but it was ok. The duck was pretty good and the complementaries on the dish were nice. Again solid but nothing memorable. Second main course was Mama Wanda, their take on shrimp and grits with a very large prawn, probably 6-8”. The presentation was awesome but the prawn was pretty tough as larger ones can be. Grits were earthy but good. The only outstanding thing about it was the aesthetics. On a side note….the homemade hot sauce is fantastic. Bought a bottle to take home. To me for the food and space we were given to dine, the $250 experience kinda failed. Service was fantastic. I am happy to see the chef and his team reap great success and wish them nothing but continued growth!

    Super Pricey for what you get but the food was good. We had some cold breezes hit us so the heating could have been better.
