Such a great option in Hillsborough. Very tasty food. Be sure to book a table. It gets busy.

We were told we had to leave by a certain time when we arrived because they were overbooked—not our fault or problem. Totally unacceptable. The food was OK and the service wasn’t great. Our waitress didn’t seem to know what anything was and didn’t come by the table much. We ordered a bottle of Prosecco and she just placed it on the table with glasses and left. We weren’t given a wine cooler and she didn’t even open it. Really disappointed especially because we spent ~$200 for 3 adults and a child.

The fish and chips entree is delicious and very tasty. I’ve had twice within the past month. The bambolini was a great choice also. Thanks to Nomad for another great meal.

This restaurant is not clean. Ultimately, nothing else matters. They need to rethink their operations.

Food was amazing. Service needs a bit of help…they brought us someone else’s wine and someone else’s food. Servers were very nice, polite and knew the menu very well. Tables were a bit close so you hear other’s conversations which isn’t all that unusual for restaurants. We will return for sure and I would recommend it to others if you’re chill.

Nomad is a neighborhood restaurant and I was surprised to receive a bill of $167 with 20% tip for two adults and a child, with only one cocktail. The food was a bit sloppy and the prices, I believe, should reflect a more refined cuisine and upscale restaurant. Paying $26 for an item with what I estimate would be a $4 food cost is excessive (standard 30-35% food cost would have required at $16 price for this item.). I say this having owned restaurants myself. The menu is all over the place...offering Thai (Pad Thai), Indian and American (fish and chips, hamburgers). It's just not possible to execute quality and attempt to have something for everyone. Situated in an old theater it is all brick and high ceilings and the noise level is deafening. Ceilings could use a sound absorbing product like "Tectum". Service was amiable. The Mango Lassi was good. The Bambino for dessert was a deep fried nightmare, tasting of old oil. I would not return. Hillsborough is a captive audience longing for good food and they deserve better!
