It’s one of my favourite spots on the strip. Hidden and unassuming, quiet and intimate. Gorgeous small plates and excellent service

The restaurant’s library setting is gorgeous. Unfortunately, the food does not measure up. Some dishes (hamachi crudo appetizer and wedge salad) were terrific, but others were meh or worse. In the “meh” category, we would put our entrees: the hangar steak, which was served cold and barely cooked and the fish special, which was in a broth, but served without bread or a spoon. To the restaurant’s credit, the waitstaff did apologize and correct these issues, but even this they did not handle well. When they removed my partner’s steak to finish cooking it, they left me with my meal rather than offering to keep it warm. As a result, I was given the choice of letting it get cold or leaving my partner to eat their meal alone. When I commented on the broth issue, they did provide a spoon, but no bread. Even as corrected the dishes were nothing special. No other accommodations were offered. As for the “worse,” the baked Alaska was cloyingly sweet but otherwise had no flavor. I found it borderline unpleasant. Overall, this was a disappointing experience for such a well reviewed and high priced restaurant.

The filer mignon was so good and that was genuinely the best bottle of wine I think I will ever have. The lamb shank was huge, just btw

Ambience, service & food at Nomad Library did not disappoint. Everything was delicious. We ordered the tuna tartare which was prepared tableside, the yellowtail crudo, baby kale salad, ridiculous mac & cheese & for dessert the chocolate decadence. We will definitely return the next time we’re in Las Vegas.

This was our second visit and it was as wonderful as our first. A definite stop for anyone visiting Las Vegas! The hotel is quite lovely as well. Both worth the splurge. We will return again next year.

Nomad Library never disappoints! I recommend to everyone that visits Las Vegas and I make sure to book at least one reservation here yearly when I attend CES.
