Opened in 2011, Nora Gray is one of those perfect little restaurants that never gets old: cozy, warm with exceptional hospitality. Nora Gray serves traditional Italian fare using exclusively the best locally sourced and seasonal ingredients.     I did notice there was an odour throughout the restaurant the whole time. Since I have a sensitive nose I chalked it up to my sensitivity but I asked another person in my party and they said they could also smell the smell. It was like really bad breath or kind of like a sewer. I didn’t want to make anyone uncomfortable in the moment so I decided not to say anything. I was also informed that the bill could be split based on each couple since it was a confirmed $100 per person. My mother in law ended up paying the whole bill and I was hoping to avoid that. Overall menu was nice but the smell of the venue and the reluctance to split the bill will not bring me back

    Je suis déjà venu ici, je ne sais pas ce qui se passe, mais nous sommes partis déçus. Le service et la salade étaient les seules qualités rédemptrices. Bien sûr, leur carte des vins est incroyable… les suggestions d'appariement n'ont pas été données. Mais la qualité doit être meilleure. Let me be clear. The pasta could have been amazing. It had the potential to be, in the shape of a bonbon. Crafty. However, the sauce.. was.. a complete failure. Fusion of staff knowledge, front of house and kitchen needs improvement. Don’t you have a sommelier?

    The service, food and atmosphere at Nora Gray do not disappoint. Cozy but not cramped interior plus an incredible menu made for a fun night out with friends. Highly recommend if you are in Montreal. Make sure you order the focaccia!

    Food plating and presentations may look simple and even underwhelming at times, but in taste, this chef never disappoints! From start to finish, salads, mushrooms, homemade pastas, focaccia bread they made to the succulent well-executed trout, and choco mousse… everything was a delight!

    Cela faisait longtemps que nous entendions parler de Nora Gray et nos attentes étaient donc très élevées. Le repas était délicieux, et les propositions de cocktails et de plats assez distinctives. Mais le menu est limité, et je m'interroge sur la dénomination italienne du restaurant. Nous sommes allés à plusieurs reprises en Italie, qui offre une cuisine colorée et généreuse. Le Nora Gray nous a plutôt proposé une variante plus austère et une atmosphère plus sombre. Il manque un peu de générosité (pas de pain, pas d'huile, pas d'olives, ni de fromage au menu). Pas de détails sur la liste des vins pour nous aider à choisir. Nous sommes donc un peu déçus, surtout relativement à la facture qui est trop élevée. Le service était impeccable et l'accueil chaleureux, la liste de choix musicaux remarquable.
