   Had a reservation but still had to wait half hour longer than the reservation was for before we could get seated. Hostess said some tables had been there for three hours and had not got up and I asked why don't you go ask them to get up and they said they could not

   It is a nice restaurant with a good ambiance. However the service and the food are sub-standard. Once our table of 8 was seated, we waited 20 minutes before our servant even took a drink order. I had to stop her when walking by the table and she then took our food and drink orders. Once the first course came, I asked if there was bread and she said yes, so not sure why it wasn’t offered without asking. When the main course came only half of us enjoyed the food. The lasagna and the chicken parm was particularly disappointing. To be clear, the servant was very kind, smiled, split up our checks correctly, however they just didn’t do the basics very well. We are not going back for awhile.

   We went to North Italia at Ballantine for Queen’s Feast. The restaurant was very busy. Our reservation was for 6 pm. There was a short wait and we were seated. There was a fairly long wait for our waiter to come to our table. We don’t blame him because as mentioned the restaurant was very busy. We ordered a glass of wine and placed our order. My wife and I both ordered the meatballs for appetizers. We also both ordered the Lasagna and we each ordered a different dessert so we could taste each one. After a few minutes the waiter returned and informed us that the Lasagna was sold out. We both ordered the Bolognese. The meatballs (three each) were very good. The Bolognese was delicious so that made up for the disappointment for not being able to get the Lasagna. The desserts were also excellent. We had to get takeout boxes because the portions were large. Overall we had a great time. The restaurant was a little loud but it was to be expected due to the crowd. We would recommend this restaurant.

   Went during Restaurant week and menu had a large selection of choices. Portions were large and we went home with lots of leftovers. The 2 of us could have easily shared 1 meal. The food was ok but you really had to work hard to find healthy or low calorie choices, Pork Milanese while tasty was fried. Chicken Parm,... fried, lots or rich sauce on the pasta and lots pf bread with the burratta. When we got the bill there was an error $30 was added for 2 Moscow Mules that we did not order...so watch your bill for accuracy! Great location, nice vibe

   Food was terrible from the over battered and deep fried calamari, to the heavily breaded and fried pork Milanese. Dressing on arugula salad that came with the pork was bitter and way too heavy. Salmon on kale salad was fried in oil. Someone told me they ate here and it was a glorified Olive Garden. Honestly haven’t eaten at Olive Garden in years but I think I would prefer it to this. Service was painfully slow. Bright spot was our waitress was really sweet.

   Thought it was all very average. Thought it was good good not great and would not run bs k to try it again. Also thought they could have better menu choices. Heavy on the pasta side should expand on other dishes.
