   Food was good, our server was polite and helpful but the food took way too long. More than an hour after ordering to get the first plate of a dozen orders. Then another long wait for the next couple of dishes and then dessert "not available" which we took to mean we need the table, you gotta go as though the 2 hour plus experience was our fault.

   This was a wonderful experience! We dined with friends so it was great to share it with them. We sat in a barrel booth which was very cool and there were several times that staff check on us throughput the evening. The food comes out when it's ready which isn't ideal and why I kept this review from a full 5 star rating. It was nice to know that when we ordered so we were prepared but still not ideal especially when you're dining with others, thankful the waiter told us. Knowing this, we ordered accordingly to share. Drinks were AMAZING! I had the What A Smokeshow and it was phenomenal! The branded ice cube was a very cool touch as well. Total, we had the special baked oyster, potato wedges, catfish nuggets, Caesar salad, sticky quail (THE BEST OF THE NIGHT! I WILL GO BACK FOR THIS ALONE!!), lamb gumbo, & the pork Demonico steak. Overall, it's pricey but mostly shareable sized portions but a very enjoyable atmosphere and friendly staff. An enjoyable and memorable experience for sure.

   This was the best meal we had in Louisville! We ended up coming a bit early and sat at the bar top for dinner. The servers and bartenders were amazing. So conversational, and went out of their way to maximize our experience. The feature was a bacon wrapped rabbit saddle, and it was unbelievable. I’ll recommend North of Bourbon to anyone visiting Louisville!

   Very unique atmosphere. (A little warm in our bourbon booth). Food was very good. We had boudin balls(good); porterhouse steak (#1 favorite); rabbit (#3 favorite) and gumbo (#2 favorite); shrimp (#4 favorite-was very spicy even when requested mild). We will be back! Also enjoyed the drink with no name!
