   Absolutely love this restaurant. This was my second time dining at O-Ku and I had been thinking about going back for months. I’ve never been a fan of raw sushi, but it’s such high quality here, I’m obsessed! I got the shishito peppers to start, and then for nigiri I got the hamachi, salmon, wagyu, and 3 hotate (bc they were that good) all from the O-Ku Nigiri section of the menu. It definitely was not a cheap meal, but it was all worth it!

   We had an excellent time celebrating my wife’s birthday along with a friend and myself’s one year of sobriety. The service was top notch and everything ordered at the table was exquisite!! Price point was impressive as well!! We will be celebrating many milestones here for times to come!!

   I cannot say enough about how this restaurant treats special occasions. We have now been for two birthdays and an engagement and we were welcomed with incredible service and food for all of them. Their attention to detail is above and beyond. Food is amazing!

   The food is incredible. The ambiance is incredible. Having Jana as our server was the best of all. God love her, my husband and I have very young children and try to get out once a week for a dinner together and she made our date night one for the books! We sat at the table distracted and sleep deprived and Jana went out of her way to make the experience memorable with her food recommendations, menu updates and even laughing along with us while we "argued" over if my husband or I was right about an order we placed. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

   My favorite sushi spot in Nashville 🖤 You know what, their drinks are SO GOOD, too. I always get the sugar and spice with vodka. This place is fancy, but not pretentious and we always come here for special occasions.

   Celebrated an engagement at O-ku on 1/18, and it was by far the best experience we have had at a restaurant. The staff was very accommodating, even with excellent celebratory free add-ons. They welcomed us with a nice engagement note—it would’ve been more personalized if I didn’t miss a message from them on the reservation date 🤦‍♂️— and champagne to celebrate. It was one of the first dates that me and my fiancee went to and for them to celebrate us like that will not be forgotten. We will continue to come back to O-Ku. The experience, the food, the service were all top-notch and we cannot thank them enough!

   We had dined in another location in Florida and was excited to have reservations in Nashville and the vibe did not disappoint! We enjoyed the king pao cauliflower starter and edamame with truffle, pickled wasabi is great. We had a Tokyo chicken Donburi that was just ok but loved our roll that I wish I could remember the name of but it had a thin slice of beef on the top and was very good . The cocktails were small and very pricey. The most outstanding part of our experience was our server “Laurana”. She was very professional , charming and steered us very patiently through a menu that we had a lot of questions about. She frequently checked on us without hovering and made excellent recommendations. The chicken was my husbands choice and we should have gone with Laurana’s suggestion instead , ha! Great evening on a cold January night!
