   Had 8:15 reservations for my birthday of 5 people and ordered our food the same time he brought our drinks but didn’t get it until 10. Four of us asked for steaks cooked medium rare and only one was correct but they were all cold and had no flavor. The best thing we ate was the tartare and it was still average. Asked if we could get the steaks recooked but was told it would take the same amount of time. Our waiter came to visit us maybe a total of 4 times. Such a waste of money.

   We always have an amazing time at the oak. We have been coming about every 6 months for the past two years. We had dinner here for the first time after we eloped in Nashville on NYE. We will forever love this place. Also Rob is an amazing server. This place is top notch.

   Service was slow and the food was just OK not worth the money when there’s so many better places in Nashville to eat

   Andy, our server, was absolutely outstanding. He was friendly and knowledgeable about all things Oaks steakhouse! He recommended a fabulous wine and provided us with several amuse bouche that were delicious! Kudos to Sam, the manager, your kitchen staff, the chef and,of course, Andy. We’ll be dining at the Oaks steakhouse on December 20 in Charleston, South Carolina where we live. If the experience is half as wonderful as it is was Oak steakhouse Nashville, we will be truly pleased. I did recommend Oak steakhouse Nashville to a number of people that we spoke to after our visit to your wonderful restaurant. I prefer Oak steakhouse to Halls steakhouse. I regularly frequent Hall steakhouse in Charleston, South Carolina. I now know that I prefer Oak steakhouse over Halls! Your entire staff was wonderful!

   It was perfect… every one was very attentive and nice and help us have a magnificent experience, obviously I gained pints with my wife thanks to all the crew.

   We had a last minute change in plan and needed a restaurant downtown as a replacement. Reservations are recommended. When you get there your parking is validated so drive right up to the valet and check in. Food was incredible, staff was awesome (including the bartenders). The ambiance was beautiful including the acorns lights. Awesome night!

    The only thing good about this experience was the decor. Aside from that, it was bad news from when we walked in the door. My wife and I had a 730 reservation, we got there a little early (720) and checked in. As we were waiting we could see a lot of dirty tables, not bussed. This should have been a red flag but we heard good things about the food, so we waited and were shown to our seats upstairs at 735. As we sat down, a table beside us was being talked to by the manager on duty as something had went wrong with their dining experience. Another red flag, but we continued to look at the drink and food menus. 5 minutes passed, we finally get water and some cold rolls. Our “server”, I didn’t get her name, was too busy talking to the table next to us that I guess we had become an afterthought. Finally, fifteen minutes passed with no server so we got up and left. We went across the street to JW, found a seat at the bar at Bourbon Steakhouse and had a great time. When you plan to spend 300+ on a date night that you don’t get very often, you would expect great service at the very least. Don’t waste your money here. We are locals and used to like going downtown for a good meal, but the new Nashville restaurants are a money grab at this point with no care for the locals.
